I'm looking for a way to keep track of and update the number of lives someone has while playing my level. Even something as simple as a number display in the corner. I want to be able to lose and gain lives throughout the level. There isn't a single tutorial on the internet about this, or at least I have yet to see one. Thoughts anyone? P.S. This is probably way easier than I"m making it out to be.

This is actually a common request, usually in the form of adding/subtracting health. Assuming you're using a sackbot in a single player level... Check out Robbit10's Creator Toolkit level (http://lbp.me/v/ye4qhs) (lbp.me) for an excellent logic tool that steps up and down, which you can wire to sensors that detect when a sackbot touches a 1-UP or dies in the level, to "add" and "subtract" lives respectively. (see video from 6:37-7:45) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSGwBKyvpcU)) Check out tdarb's tutorial on how he made a numerical display (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=45133-Scalable-digital-counter) for the actual counting of lives. I'm low on the learning curve of logic myself, but these two resources will get you there! BONUS: You might find it useful to go through Comphermc's tutorials (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=51232-LBP2-Torials-Video-Tutorials-by-comphermc-%28Updated-Mar-31%29), especially #2 and #5 which deal with analog signals. His information can be a bit densely packed, but it covers so many principles that once you understand what he's talking about you can apply it to anything and everything. He's LBP2's patron saint of logic.
