Costumes Only And Not All At Once
Archive: 12 posts
I just thought I'd post this to clarify a question constantly asked on here. You may also want to read the whole article: LittleBigPlanet DLC Costume Cross-Compatibility! Customisation is a BIG part of LittleBigPlanet. Being able to modify your Sackboy or Sackgirl is a way for players to personalise their experience, while also bringing a variety of different franchises and entertainment properties into the LBP universe. We recognise this and have decided that we can?t ask all you LittleBigPlaneteers to fully enjoy the upcoming LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting without an amazing assortment of costumes at your disposal. So?.we?re going to let you bring the costumes that you bought for LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2 along with you?..for no extra cost! Not only that, but for any new costumes that take your fancy, you will only ever need to purchase the costume once and you?ll have access to it across LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, and LittleBigPlanet Karting! If you?ve forgotten just how fabulous you could look in LittleBigPlanet, why don't you go and check out all the costumes we?ve released to-date and have a little window shop whilst we rush back to LittleBigPlanet HQ and make everything just perfect for you. Here?s the small print: There is a heck of a lot of costumes and it's going to take us a little while to get them all tailored, pressed, and packaged up. You will get some at launch and then we?ll be adding the rest later on, but rest assured you will get them! http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2012/08/16/littlebigplanet-at-gamescom-2012/ | 2012-08-16 19:23:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
On the EU blog, there were mentions of a LBPV bundle. I'm really hoping that there's a similar offer or even Collector's Edition that carries over to the US, because that's one of the only reasons I wouldn't wait for a price drop. | 2012-08-16 20:46:00 Author: Super_Clone Posts: 849 |
Only costumes metntioned as not carrying over are the two Ezio ones for Karting. I'm assuming that means that despite being delisted from the store the Incredibles costumes are going to be reproduced for the existing buyers. | 2012-08-16 21:16:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |
Yes! So does this mean that costume parts I get in Vita will transfer to PS3 too? | 2012-08-16 22:31:00 Author: amoney1999 Posts: 1202 |

so can we put our costumes we made and saved to vita also? No. that would mean being able to pass over saved data. This is just the option to redownload official costumes from the PSN. | 2012-08-17 02:28:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
What about level kits and creator kits? | 2012-08-17 09:25:00 Author: AntonyHelen Posts: 127 |
What about level kits and creator kits? Will my current LittleBigPlanet Level Packs and other content be cross-compatible? Due to a variety of technical limitations, it simply is not possible for your LittleBigPlanet Level Packs and other content to be cross-compatible. LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting will both contain their own full-range of creation tools and assets to meet any budding creator’s needs and will take full advantage of their brand spanking new features. http://www.littlebigplanet.com/en/help/faq/will_my_current_littlebigplanet_level_packs_and_ot her_content_be_cross-comp/ | 2012-08-17 09:36:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |
