Sequencer problems?

Archive: 6 posts

I've been recently having major problems with sequencers. I use them all the time and I don't know why it's doing this now. But anytime I extend the length of a mover or rotator inside of a sequencer it turns itself on while the sequencer isn't even going. how do I stop it from doing that?2012-08-15 03:02:00

Yeah... You should always design in pause mode. Only unpause it when you need to test something. But as to your question in play mode... Could it be that you are accidentally hitting square on your controller? This will position the replay scroller at your cursor and begin playing your sequencer from that position. But you said you work with sequencers a lot, so I'm sure you already know this. Don't know what else coud be causing your problem.2012-08-15 04:00:00

Yup, pretty much most gadgets can be extended in the sequencer, if it makes sense for them to do so.

I first enter an empty moon space. Pause it, then take out the object. And as soon as I extend the rotator closer to the end of the sequencer it turns itself on in pause mode, and when I unpause it, it rotates out of control PERMANENTLY, not until the sequencer ends, but until I make it stop by either pausing it or returning it to it's original length. While all of that is true, I DID find a way to stop it. I just double tap square to make the position the bar and take it off. And no, the replay bar was NOT already on when I had the problem.2012-08-15 18:52:00
