what the heck did you use to take those screenshots? You know you can take ingame pics right? open popit then clickon the picture and hit square to upload it? then go to LBP.me and find the picture, get the url to it then use the image tags to insert it into the thread? right? c'mon.2012-08-15 02:48:00

sorry man, I typed that in haste as I was in a hurry to get out the door. once you get your picture to LBP.me, click the picture until it is the only think left in the window. Copy that url in the top address bar. put image tags around the URL like so:

I really liked the look and feel of this level! I think that the gameplay is a bit difficult though and needs some tweaking to ensure that players of all skill levels can complete it. I think one thing that you can do that is really easy and will help players finish is to add more infinite life checkpoints. I found myself frustrated because after many, many, many tries I had passed a particular obstacle only to die halfway through the next and thus had to redo the obstacle previous all over again.

The two obstacles (the piston and conveyer belt room) that are just after the area in the picture above require very specific gameplay... It takes numerous tries and fails to master and the only nearby checkpoint is at the beginning of the level (and it has limited lives). I strongly suggest adding an infinite life checkpoint just before the piston. I think that you should also slow down the piston and the conveyer belts to give players of all skills more of a chance to finish the level.

In the image above I think that you should zoom out the camera so that players can see the spikes... Just a thought. Also, the jumps are too big. I found myself dying over and over and over again because my jump was just a hair too short. Once again, the very precise gameplay might frustrate casual gamers.

The area pictured above was one of the coolest in the level. I thought it looked really cool. The bridge just after was also a really cool idea but I didn't like dying over and over again. I liked the falling parts of the bridge but they fell too quickly for me to react. As a result I just died over and over again until the obstacle turned into another really big jump. See if you can't make the platforms wait a half second before falling to give players a chance to react.
Lastly, the camera angle in the fire area of the final conveyer belt made passing that area very difficult and the nearest checkpoint was before the bridge...
All in all I really liked this level. It looks really cool and has some awesome platforming... Unfortunately the platforming might be too difficult for the casual gamer. I was able to finish it but I'm not sure how many players will have the patience. Great work though!

As for the F4F... If you could check out my Metal Gear Solid thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=72941-Metal-Gear-Sackboy-Unraveling-Stitches) and play through one (or both) of my levels I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm constantly looking for ways to improve my levels so any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

My first impressions of this level were good. You had a theme and you stuck with it. I felt like I was in an old abandoned factory. He platforming worked well to, though it was quite challenging. I died alot. I really enjoyed how there was some puzzles, not to intense, just motly pull the lever. Put the part with the 2 moving platforms was clever. Though I wouldn't of minded if you used it twice in the level. Perhaps expanding upon it by giving you a greater distance to traverse with multiple stations to move it. But everything seemed to work well together. I have a mojor complain though, it was had no points. This level would of been perfect for a race.

Anyways here's the scores

Graphics: 4/5
-The seemed to work well, everyting seemed rusted but it was also very repetative. Perhaps add some overgrowth of vines or moss to make it seem more abandoned. Also some moving scenery would of been nice. Like maybe some broken mchines steaming in the backround.

Gameplay 5/5
- The gameplay was fun. Some great platforming elements were used in the level. I wouldn't of minded a little more in depth use of already introduced obsticals but since it what short there wasn't much room to add so its not too much of a problem. But a race would of made it so much better.

Story 4/5
-Since there wasn't any all give it a 4. Though perhaps if you gave your sack an objective, like saying in the description ''Help Sackboy or girl travel through an old ru down factory on his quest to discover its secret. And treaure.'' Then just add a treasure chest at the end and some secrtet treasures along the way or something. It might of said something important but idk cause its in spanish(i think) try putting the descrtiption in english and spanish

Overall (average) 4.3/5
- This level was fun but quite challenging. Thiugh it seemed to be missing something... oh yeah, points. Adding them will allow people to compete for the highscore.

EDIT: Okay, I played it.
This level was really creative, cool, difficult, and short all at once. I played with a friend online, which I probably shouldn't have done, but it was still fun nonetheless.
The scenery, although a bit bland, was very nice and robotic (I guess?). The spinning and moving arms were really cool, especially when they made a bridge. The conveyer belts were what really impressed me, and all of the sackboy-killing mechanisms did too, although they killed me forty billlion times.
The only problems I have are the length and difficulty (at times). It was really difficult to get past that crumbling/falling bridge, and after several attempts, a huge gap was left in between that was nearly impossible to clear. The conveyer belt was a bit tight as well, and it was hard (mostly due to the lag I was experiencing because of online-play) to keep control right between the fire and stuff.
However, these are all small issues, and a good challenge is needed once in a while. I really liked it. Good job! :hero:

thank you all for your reviews, the talk generally turns on the bridge falls, soon empesare to design some kind of warning or a sticker as I tell you cross the bridge without dying, some friends just jump and jump in the bridge and sometimes do not fall, if the jump is accurate.

News!, old metal is now 85% for those who enjoy the game, this will be now the extended version.

3- Little intro.
4- Boss (Crazy Old Machine, some Robotics Arms are being tested now).
