Hey guys! I'm currently in the process of creating a level based on the game Dead Nation. For those of you that aren't familiar with the game, I'll explain the idea now. You play the role of Jack McReady, a survivor of a deadly virus that brings the dead back to life. The undead have overrun the city and you've hunkered down in your apartment. Unfortunately you are running low on food and other supplies, so are forced to venture into the city in a bid to survive. Something the now undead population of the city do not want you to do! The game play will feature a multitude of weapons such as a rifle, SMG, shotgun, flamethrower and a rocket launcher! As well as weapons you can use the environment to your advantage, distracting zombies with car alarms or setting off large explosions from fuel tanks and vehicles. In Co-op you can team up with a friend who will take the role of Scarlett Blake, and together you can fight off the hordes of undead in a bid to survive! The virus has mutated everyone differently, so expect various types of zombies from your small and fast, to large and powerful. With different difficulty settings the level will cater for the casual zombie killer, right up to the hardcore zombie slayer! I plan for this to be a fun arcade style game that's driven by story to really try and grab the players. If you have any suggestions or ideas for anything that I could implement in this level I'd love to hear them! I plan on releasing a beta/teaser level soon to test out the concept, so I'll let you know when it's up as I'll be needing play testers!
