This will be my first vs. level. The inspiration comes from sources such as Motorstorm, Twisted Metal and the epic vehicle chases at the end of every Mad Max movie. The look of the paint jobs is inspired by monster trucks and hot wheels cars. They will be loaded with special effects for when you boost (as well as when you boost too much), use shields or sustain enough fire from your opponents. The cars are currently made of theck and thack and i'm looking for an expert in thock or mock thock since the thack doesn't quite meet up with the thin layer. The race area is potentially endless, as I took inspiration from hedge hopping and made it a conveyor of randomly generated segments. So another bonus is the track will be somewhat different every time you go at it. I've had help from a few others, in working out logic and mechanical issues. Advice from fredbighed allowed me to make a (so far) glitch free track. He and xxMATEOSxx helped work out car kinks (it was mateos who suggested theck and thack cars to allow for three racers and no unwanted center layer collision.) Also, were it not for Supmike's expertise at menus and logic, the project wouldn't look nearly as slick as it's turning out to look. There are some car effects I can't take credit for, as they were his idea. (though I think fred had a similar idea that never got implemented, but something he did to the car makes much more sense now that I saw what mike added.) I know this is lbpc, but if you know where to point me to get lbn and lbl stickers, there will be unlockable lbpc, lbpl, lbn and lbl cars for anyone who has the right stickers to activate certain sticker switches.
