Hi Dawnbreaker. Please take the time to head over to the I (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?6-Introduce-Yourselves)ntroduce Yourselves (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?6-Introduce-Yourselves) section and say Hi to the community at large. Here's how the spotlights work. You post your level here and then the spotlight crew plays the level and votes on it to see whether or not it will be Spotlighted. I'll give you a little primer on how to post your level and get more attention for it from the rest of the community.

First, this is your level, your creation, your baby. Your job is to convince people to play your level. Right? If you are proud enough of your level to post it in the Showcase area, then why oh why would you post it like this. This is only an example of some of the post I've seen:

"Hey guys, I just finished my new level. I worked on it real hard, so please go play it."

Wow, I don't know about you, but I sure want to play this level...NOT!
Here's a simple check list of things to do, to make your thread stick out.

LBP.me tool--did you use the tool? it's the blue box with a white bell, http://www.lbpcentral.com/images/lbpme.pngmore on this later EDIT: LBP.me tool is currently broken. STILL INCLUDE YOUR LEVEL LINK THOUGH!

brief synopsis on your level. What is the level about? What type of gameplay is it? What are some unique features of the level. This is where you can really sell it, get people excited for it.

F4F -- did you make it a feedback for feedback thread? Did you want to?

PICTURES-- did you post some pictures? more on this later

The LBP.me tool:http://www.lbpcentral.com/images/lbpme.png This nifty little tool is quite cool. Click on the icon and it will put this code in for you. Copy your LBP.me level URL. The URL is the in the white address bar at the top of the page. It will look something like this: http://lbp.me/v/zwp--b
put that URL in between the code so that it looks like this:
http://lbp.me/v/zwp--b
NOTE: This must be the first line of your post
Now what this does, is gathers the LBP.me info and puts it in the thread for you. Kind of like this:

http://i8.lbp.me/img/bl/g121000-6b84ad11.pngALIENS STOLE OUR BISCUITS!! for the worst level contestjester946 this is a level for the "worst level contest" on LBPC. The spelling and grammar mistakes are on purpose. Enjoy this stupid adventure and remember, it's supposed to be bad.

Alternatively, you can use this method here. It's one of the options when posting your level. It's really simple. Just put the level code in and Kabam! done.

Pictures Add some pictures! This is really simple to do. I would recommend taking your own pictures within your level. Open your popit, click on stickers and deco and scroll through to your pictures. on the pictures you want to upload. hit square on the picture and upload.
NOTE This section is mainly for Firefox or Chrome users. If you're using Internet Explorer then go to Google and type in Mozilla Firefox or Chrome and download one of those browsers.
Got to your LBP.me profile and Find your pic(s) click on it, then click it again so that it's the
onlything in the window.
Copy the URL. come to your thread and click the Insert picture tool
http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/LBPC-Style/editor/insertimage.pnga box will pop up, click on the "from URL" tab
paste the URL in the box
Be sure to UNCHECK the box that says "
Retrieve remote file and reference locally" Unchecking this box, makes the picture bigger
click "OK" Then when you submit the thread your picture will be in the page like so:
If for some reason the "insert picture tool" is not displayed, then just put your link in between image tags link and it will do the same thing

F4F (Feedback for Feedback)--- Feedback for Feedback is a system that helps creators improve their skills by offering to trade feedback with others. This system is optional; you do not have to participate. Also, Feedback For Feedback works back-and-forth between both the Level Showcase and Object Showcase. You may specify a level under an object's F4F, and vice versa

Hello there! I'm writing this feedback for your level as I play it, so hopefully you'll be able to pinpoint good areas as well as areas that need improving. Enjoy

Before I talk about the level, the description says "Our beloved Earth is At ruins. What has *********, what caude this?". I presume the censored word is happened, which is censored for God knows why, and "caude" isn't a word (it sounds like you mean "caused").

With that out of the way, onto the level. Opening looks nice, I like that it's in black and white and the music works very well. Perhaps give a few more corners to the spikes, they don't look very natural. House is cool, but what's that coming out the side? Loved the rock being destroyed, it looked really good. Pylons also look good, though I didn't really know where to go as the bounce pads forced me left when clearly I was going meant to be going right. More rocks blowing up, awesome. Pulled the switch, some platforms rained down. Camera was cool, but perhaps a bit too shaky, maybe turn it down a little. Going along said platforms, again, the windows look a bit too spiky, maybe add some more corners.

Fell or a tree because it exploded, I liked how I had to climb up on a car. The checkpoint is a bit too high though, maybe add a switch to activate it. The jump past the structure with the shaky camera is really difficult to make, wasn't sure if I should land on the platform or not. Into the building marked "919". Love the trees running along the front layer. Got a random message about red things, I haven't seen any red things, so I'm a bit lost.

Camera suddenly went dark, now in colour on some tree. Very cool. The public announcement didn't fit the music, but it's still quite cool. Getting the box hanging on some sting was hard work, but I quite enjoyed it. The library bit is fantastic and really detailed, well done. Missile cutscene was cool. And that's the end.

Overall, a good level. It could use a little work graphically, but it was fun to explore around and wasn't particularly bad in any areas. I think it shows promise for you as a creator and I look forward to your future levels. A happy face

For F4F, could you please play my level Explosive Adventures 2 (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=69903-Explosive-Adventures-2-Another-Bomb-Based-Platformer&p=999216#post999216)? Thanks.

On an unrelated note, I also really love your Earth

A good level, but could be improved. I enjoyed this level, the idea of this level makes it sound cool, like a blockbuster movie, and your level is cool and action packed! I liked the trees as they looked really good, although the background was a tad plain. I liked the hazards that had you jumping up platforms to get to the next area. The 919 was good, I liked the seperate rooms, but a lot of the stuff you do is blocked out and it made it unnecessarily difficult to get out, but I did manage. The teleportation was nice and I'm guessing it was a flashback, the house was well designed and the puzzles were nice, although maybe a bit more guidance with the boxes, it took me a while to even realize you could use R1 to push/pull them. The final cut-scene was good, as if it was slow-motion, so I really enjoyed that.

If you fix some of the technical problems, such as difficult jumps, due to the separate layers, specifically near the start with the bounce pads and sort out some vision problems you have a fantastic level on your hands. Next time aim to solve these problems and maybe make the scenery nicer . You definitely have potential! A really good level, I enjoyed it
