I gave the level a quick run through and was very entertained by it... I felt like a tormented lab rat which in this case is a good thing. I ran out of lives in an area where I believe that the gravity was being changed based on a timer... But without other visual cues I couldn't figure out how gravity was being affected and when... I just heard the sounds and saw my poor sackboy jump faithfully to his doom without a single complaint... He's a loyal fellow to the end. I'll give the level another shot tomorrow but I feel that there should be something in that area that demonstrates the affect of gravity or lets the player know how gravity is affected.

As for the F4F... If you'd like to check out my thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=72941-Metal-Gear-Sackboy-Unraveling-Stitches) I've got a couple of levels you can pick from. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the feedback on my level by the way. If you get a chance to go back and try them let me know over on my thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=72941-Metal-Gear-Sackboy-Unraveling-Stitches).

I took some time today to go back a give your Chemical Lab another shot. I gave it 9 solid attempts but finally had to give in... Its a tough level. The jump you have in the picture at the top is a biiiig one... Not easy to make. Once up top it takes some pretty precise hopping to get through but I managed... Those two spots accounted for 3 of my retries... A few more retries were spent on the next area... those platforms that go in and out are hard to master... And once you think your home free the drop is instant death... It took a few falls to realize what I was supposed to do. I suggest some clear arrows and/or other signs... Maybe even a temporary platform that disappears a few seconds after contact. Just something to help players assess their next move. Getting out of that gravity room was tough and I think I made it out of there by luck... I was finally through and thought I was nearing the end when I turned the power on and the door to the right (with the R1 sign) wouldn't open... It made a noise but nothing happened... I looked around for another switch or something but I couldn't figure out what to do next. Could you provide me with some guidance?

I'll give it another shot when I can.

Oh, and I almost forgot... In order to make the level more accessible to players of all skills I suggest you use infinite life checkpoints... I know it takes the fun out of it but it helps... I found that before I put those in my levels people didn't finish them and never went back to try again... The infinite life checkpoint ensures that they'll keep going until they finish (hopefully).2012-08-10 18:06:00

Hey there! I'm writing this feedback as I play your level, so hopefully it will help pinpoint areas I enjoyed and areas that need improving, as well as let you look through the eyes of someone playing it for the first time. Enjoy, and excuse any typos

Enjoyed the intro. Great first impression, I enjoyed the gameplay of jumping down and swing to get up, quite original. Lift was pretty cool as well. Random Sackbot following me, though I can barely see him (might be my tall hat), perhaps set him to patrol, unless he's really needed on follow. The bit with the pipes is very fun and intense, though I got stuck behind the beginning bit (with the circle you grab), perhaps but some invisible, plasmafied hologram to stop the player going in there. Also, there's no indication to grab the metal, and as metal isn't usually grab-able, I was a bit lost at first. It was still very enjoyable though, not seen much like it before.

Scientist's dance made me laugh. Again, no idea I had to grab the metal door (leading to the room with the pipes and the green background). Nice effect on pulling the switch. Now it's all dark, with some batteries for power - again - very cool, though the wheel took me by surprise and I lost out on some points. The water in the sewer pipes (with the blocks trying to push you in) are very loud, but otherwise that bit was cool as well. Into the room with loads of score bubbles, there's no way out so I guess I have to get them all. I was wrong. Oh well, more points for me.

Through the sewer pipes, onto the bit with the big battery. Cutscene with the stairs rising was a little long for my liking, but it did look pretty cool. Bit with the plasma going back and forth is tough, and it's annoying to climb the stairs every time, perhaps put a checkpoint at the top. Turns out the checkpoint doesn't have infinite lives, which is quite unfair.

I ran out of lives. I'd like to point out that if I weren't reviewing the level, I'd have quit. If I run out of lives again, I most likely will.

Made it back to the plasma bit fairly quickly. Managed to do the plasma bit! Oh god, I have to do it again. Thankfully got it done again. The bit with the platforms coming out was cool, but I died immediately after and now I have to do it again, but with gravity lower. Bit with the wheel is cool, but I've no idea what to do, I grab it, I spin with it for a bit then it kicks me off. Ok, worked it out now.

It's now completely dark. Ooh, lights. That was cool. Oh now the Scientist is a zombie! And now it's the end.

Overall, a good level. The graphics could use a little tidying, but there were some very fun and very original gameplay ideas in there. Please, for the love of Sackboy, use infinite life checkpoints and make the plasma bit easier though. A happy face

For F4F, could you please play my level Explosive Adventures 2 (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=69903-Explosive-Adventures-2-Another-Bomb-Based-Platformer&p=999216#post999216)? Thanks.
