Infinite lives checkpoint.

How do you make one? As seen on Donkey Shows level. I'm guessing it's emitters and such... but I'm a little confused. I will definitely need to use them on the level I'm currently building. Or, if you can send me it as an object then that would be even better! I'll credit you on my level too Thanks!2009-01-09 22:23:00

Its easy anyway... You just emit a checkpoint with a 10 sec lifespan. 1 at a time with a 0.1 frepuency.2009-01-10 09:31:00

wait wouldn't it just disappear after 10 sec and you would be left with no checkpoint then.

wish i knew about the tutorial earlier i saw that in his level and then made one for myself. It works but took longer than it should have.

but then if you run by the checkpoint and it disappears off screen and you die, even if a new one is emitted it would not have been activated because you are not near it?

I guess I'm confused

Oh noez. I made a minigame with only one entry checkpoint. Thats why it worked for me. *DOH*2009-01-11 00:14:00

ahh i got ya.... I thought that when I made mine I made it overly complicated and was feeling stupid if I could have done it that easily. Not that its crazy hard, the hardest part for me was trying to get the emitter to emit a checkpoint at the start of the level, and perfectly placing the sensor switch so that it would emit one when I respawned but not just when I walked by.2009-01-11 02:21:00
