You've played the beta (or read extensively about it), and now that the NDA is expired, what did you find missing from the experience that you hope is being saved for launch or would like added before launch?

My list:
?"slot car" track skin
?an atract-o-track or tweaker (allowing...)
?the ability to make loops, barrel rolls, corkscrews and vert track.
?the ability to switch race cart selection back to "any".
?either a circular background or a sqare workspace. I'm still scratching my head over that one.

(i did a search for a thread like this before making it and found none)

I didn't really get the whole "3D" aspect of it. the create mode was increasingly similar to the MNR create mode. and i personally hated the MNR track creation mechanics. so i will not be making LBPk levels. but what would be cool. i only have 2 things.
*i like big things. so a higher limit for the top of the map would be cool
*bigger backgrounds, if you went in create in the kitchen background you will see that you can't go on different flooring. your just limited to the tiles.

heres also some fun bugs i found.
* if you go next to a flat wall and pressed "triangle" the camera will clip into the sack boys head and make the entire body invisible. except the throat.
* if you make a massive mountain on the side of the map and spawn your sack boy on the FAR side of the mountain (towards the end of the map) you will fall down the mountain and teleport (seeing through the map in the process) back to the center of the map.
* if your in create if you keep drifting outwards (holding the joystick the opposite way your drifting) your sack boys wheels will set on fire 4 times every 2.5 seconds.
* if you go right against a FLAT wall and go forward. your cart will force into high gear and push at the wall at full speed. though the wheels of the cart will only barely roll and no smoke will be created from the traction.
* (NOTE: i do not actually know how this glitch occurred. so i am guessing.) Select the square option in the terrain. then make a crevice about a fourth away from the edge of the map that goes ALMOST all the way across the map. then invert it. size it to its full size. then create a massive SQUARE mountain on the edge NEXT to the crevice. then when you drive to the part of the map that isn't a crevice. you appear to mysteriously teleport to the middle of the map. you don't die. nothing. you just tele to the middle of the map.

I think the sticker system is tricky. The stickering and customazation should be like the original LBP. Still a great game overall.2012-08-02 00:47:00

I didn't play much with geopaint because it felt counter-intuitive and the grid didn't seem LBP accurate.

(and can someone explain to me why the grid was held away from your object, making things more guesswork than precise?)

I think United Front needs to remember what the name of the game is and if not design the controls LBP style as default, at least make it a settings option.

I would also like the ability to have spheres and obloids, as well as be able to corner edit shapes into cones and pyramids and such.

One thing I did like is that dynamic physics are not default, especially since for some reason there is no geopainted object colission detection durring creation.
