I have a question, how do you make a custom sticker with LittleBigPlanet? | 2009-01-09 17:36:00 Author: Dexist Posts: 570 |
Playstation Eye or Eyetoy. | 2009-01-09 17:37:00 Author: Unknown User |
Ow, that wont work for me then.. But i see several Stickers that are not photos how you make those then? | 2009-01-09 17:42:00 Author: Dexist Posts: 570 |
the better method is to draw the image using in materials, colour with stickers, and finally take an in game photo of your drawing. Much higher quality. The only downfall being the shape of the photo is unchangeable. It depends on the use, i make custom textures for my level, so having large cuboid shapes is great, but as decorations not so much. | 2009-01-09 17:44:00 Author: accordion Posts: 76 |
Yes i agree with accordion. It is from far the best way. Stickers appears less pixelated. | 2009-01-09 18:45:00 Author: Takelow Posts: 1355 |
To make custom stickers from in-game such as sackboy characters I simply photo them in game, and then use material and delete around the edges till it looks perfect. That's the only way that I know how to make custom stickers, besides using a simple playstation eye. | 2009-01-10 11:40:00 Author: Bear Posts: 2079 |
a useful feature is the way stickers are object dependent, That is, they apply only on the object you select, and are wrapped around the sides and back if large enough. | 2009-01-10 13:44:00 Author: accordion Posts: 76 |
Speaking on the topic of this, is there a way to import photo files stored on your PS3? I haven't found a way of how people do that ;/ | 2009-01-10 21:53:00 Author: gripper92 Posts: 38 |

the easiest way to do it, is to create an object, color it, copy, move one plain back and use that to delete the wall behind it, and move that object in which is already colored, and from there you can take a picture, and now you have a custome sticker, this meathod is also used for creating custom costumes, because you can apply the sticker to your sackboy and you instantly have a new costume.
