For those of you who think you're pretty good at artwork... yes, that doesn't include me... here's your chance to get some international recognition for your awesomeness. Sony has invited six of its 'Games as Art' experts to possibly choose your artwork for display at Gamescom in Germany this year. Among the experts, a very notable, very well-known Media Molecule member and LBP creator Alex Evans! Quote So we want you guys to send us any art you?ve created that was inspired by or based on a videogame. It can be any still visual medium you like: a painting, photograph, sketch, digital image, anything! Send them in by 12:00 midday (UK time) on 1st August and we?ll pick the best 25. These will then be shared with our six panellists for 2012 who will vote on their ten favourites. These ten will then be professionally mounted on canvas and displayed in a gallery at this year?s panel event in Cologne, Germany, which will be live-streamed to the world. Once the session is over, our panellists will sign the artwork and return it to you to cherish forever. This is a unique opportunity, if you're into it. So get to it!
