Jam Doesn't Work!!!

Archive: 6 posts

okay so i just recently got lbp2 and I'm on chapter 2 on the runaway train level. based on the videos i've watched, I've noticed that you're apparently supposed to throw jam at the enemies to kill them. I've now been at it for a good 30 minutes throwing jam like crazy and the enemies aren't dying. am i doing something wrong? is my game bugged? what is going on???2012-07-28 22:08:00

You have to throw it on the creature Brain which is unprotected. ( it looks like a prize bubble without anything in it )
It's attached on the back creature I think.

Edit: I confound it with another level, the brain isn't on their back but you can easily notice it.
This should help:

Between, is it the first time you play a littlebigplanet game?

Pahahahahaha!!! You've just been throwing random bits of material around wondering why things aren't being killed? Oh, man, I know it seems mean, but the mental image I have of you trying to kill enemies with Jam is hilarious.
The naturally hazardous properties of Jam! LBPs new Lethalisation.

No, the material has nothing to do with it. What it is, is that there's a Tag on the object the Creatinator emitts. And on the baddie, there's an Impact Sensor. When the Impact Sensor detects the correct Tag, it destroys the creature. Sensors can be wired into Creature Brains.
