At the moment I'm using a different PS3 (B) to my own (A), and I want to transfer my LBP2 profile to B so I can play it while I can't get to A. Obviously I'm getting the "You've copied your profile from another user" message meaning I can't get pins or trophies while playing on B. My question is, will this message continue to appear if I then back up the profile from B and import it into A? If so, I'm guessing importing level backups do not cause this message to appear?

If you have two ps3's you can do Data transfer Via Ethernet cable which will transfer all of the data of ones ps3's to another. As for the level back ups no you will not the get the message but be sure that the ps3 you are transferring your level to has the dlc that the level has.

Unfortunately the two PS3s in question are in two different countries so I'd need a very long Ethernet cable! Good to know that level backups won't cause the pin/trophy block though, I think that's all that will really change on my profile anyway so it's all good.

Well another solution could be if both ps3's are at the same frame.net you could switch hard drives its just a theory but could work.

Well like I said the PS3s are in two different countries so they're not really options but thanks anyway.

You can just load your PSN profile to the second PS3 then your lbp profile will be copyable from one to the other without any issues. Unless being in a different country prevents you loading up you PSN profile then it will work as i have two PS3's now both with my lordwarblade profile loaded and i transfer my profile back and forth all the time.
