High Scores

(I did a quick search and didn't see any thread like this, so...)

High scores aren't very important here in LBP, but out of curiosity, what notable levels, if any, do you hold the high score for? How did you earn them? What makes them notable?

What about times where you held the highest score and lost it? Or where you almost had the highest score and screwed up?

Currently, I hold the high score for FULLGORR's Think Before You Jump! (http://lbp.me/v/-6jsyz/scores), which now has 50,000+ plays and Geet-R's Vertical Velocity (http://lbp.me/v/czfbp2/scores). (I'm not quite sure how long my high score for Vertical Velocity will stick, though. As of now the gap between my score and 2nd place is only 476 points.)

A while back when I was playing Think Before You Jump!, just days after it was published, way before it was MM picked, before the race gate at the end was added, I accidently discovered a way to skip a huge portion of the level. Only a few others, if any, knew about this level design exploit, so when race mode was fixed, I blasted through the level and easily obtained the high score with I think 38,000+ points. After I obtained that score I managed 41,545 even though I died once (This video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxFLNADgNjw) shows how lopsided the scoreboards were at one point. As of 6/6/12, 2nd-5th were seperated by 5,500 points, but my gap over 2nd was at 6,600 points!) After a while SuperJurno suddenly beat my score, but I obtained 43,050ish points a little while after, and then 43,250, which is where the high score for Think Before You Jump! stands as of 7/28/2012. Now it seems that a significant amount of people have the discovered the level design exploit, since everyone in the top 10 now has at lest 40,000 points, but I still hold the high score for the level.

EDIT: And now SuperJurno has beat my high score for Think Before You Jump! with 43,578.

Not quite a high score, but I am one of the 8 people who have beaten Elvenbane's "Bubble Ghost HD", out of 1400 people. That's three people if you are only considering solo players, and two people if you don't include Elvenbane himself.

My god, that level was hell.

You horrible person! How dare you steal my position in hall of ultimate glory!

Hunting highscores for levels is like drug for me. If there is good level, lots of people with ridiculously high scores, getting highest seems nearly impossible, you can't stop me. You can see my name in some levels' highscore lists.

I once had highscore for Steve_Big_Gun's LittleBigMe level. But then some people cheated, and I lost my intrest to that level.

Well, my high score for Think Before You Jump! has been beaten. SuperJurno has achieved 43,578, and I've recently obtained 43,436, which leaves me 142 points behind first place in that level.

I forgot I had achieved this earlier, but I hold the high score for lordwarblade's Deadville Hollow - Dead Nation Style Twin Stick Shooter (http://lbp.me/v/z1-39w/scores) because of an scoring exploit I discovered. This leaves me with 2 levels I hold the high score for whereas previously I held the high score for 3 levels.
