Journey to the Olympics London 2012

Here's my latest Lv, it celebrates the Olympics kicking off this evening.
The lv itself is a platformer not actually a load of olympic events.
Any feedback would be great : P

Cool level. You might want to be careful about using pictures of actual money in your level though, that might be cause for this to get moderated.2012-07-29 05:54:00

Awesome job. I really enjoyed the bright, bold colors and the characters throughout your game. Put me in the Olympic spirit! The transportation sections were really clever including the double decker bus and the subway. I also enjoyed shooting the arrows through the rings. I think it could use more mini games like that in your game. They don't have have to be complicated mini games, but short, fun games like the arrows. Unless you prefer it being strictly a platformer than thats fine. Putting the BBC and Coke logos was a cool, funny idea.

If you could check out my music level in my signature that would be great.

Yar I think so too.
I'm going to remove a section to try and get at least one more mini game in.
Thanks for the play & imput, off to queue your Lv now : D

EDIT:
Yay I managed to stop the bus leaving without the player.
Thanks for the plays keep 'em coming^^

The entire Lv has been reworked and republished 11/08/12

Thank you very much for the review.
I've gone on today and unleathalized the train tracks.
Will look into smoothing out some of the other parts and giving you some F4F when I get in from work later.
Thanks again for the feedback : D

Alright so I played it, and did manage to leave a short review.
The gameplay worked out great. The visuals were also great. Nothing was really wrong in those aspects. In fact there were very few things that did manage to not work. The only downside I can possibly find in this level, is the amount of small things. I got killed by the tracks when I left the train and had to restart from the beginning of the tracks. I found the creatinator to be shooting a little hard and fast, as well as the counters on the jam to be unnecessary. Some jumps were just a little too far, and I got stuck on he cardboard platform when a creatinator was rising.

Like I said, these are all small things, and very much knit picking. They don't hinder the level at all. I'd like to see a few more creative platforming elements though. Not something no one's thought of, but just some more reasons to jump, and time jumps and jump some more. Maybe make use of a few more tools MM has given use. Like the grabinator or grapple hook. I think the biggest thing you could do to improve. Is to implement some Sackbot folk in there to make the scene feel alive. I can't be the only sack on my way to the olympics? I think this is an overlooked piece of scenery, and your level is already quite visual.

Anyway, this is my first F4F, hope I did well.

The opening scene you have set up at the moment is fine I'm sure it'll be cool once you've finished.
I'll come back and review it when it's done : D

Nice level. Here is that feedback stuff of mine.

-I liked the characters (not so much the pre made ones...) and how one of them was part of the gameplay.
-The platforming was simple yet fun. I loved the part where you had to shoot the arrows.
-I really liked the end cutscene with the torch being lit, though the way the way the platforms above the scoreboard "splat" didn't make much sense. Change to exploding or disappearing maybe?
-It was indeed an awesome bus, but it left without me D;
-That guy at the beginning asked me to clean the jam off his equipment multiple times.

Heh, sorry if that feedback was kind of cheap, I couldn't find a lot of problems with the level.
