Failed to load level... One of the why?

Archive: 8 posts

Hi everybody,

I recently have the bad news that my SpaceOpera level is an "Impossible to load level" one on my own moon!
However, i understood something about this message. I don't know if such a thing had ever been posted before but i didn't find such a thread by the research engine.

In fact, when i saw that my level was impossible to load, i WAS NOT connected online. There was a bug in my play session and when i tried to connect i systematically had a 403 error (but it is not the problem here). Anyway, i was not connected. And i remembered that somme of the items i give in SpaceOpera were customs item and that I HAVE DELETED THEM FROM MY POPIT few days ago...
Thus, i was trying to play on my moon a levevl with custom contents gift bubble that i haven't anymore in my memory. How the game could find these gift if i'm not connected online to upload them?
In order to further test, i restarted my PS3 and i could onnect to the LPB servers. I replayed the SpaceOpera level and obtained all the gift (that were then part of my popit). When i tried to play on SO my moon, there was no impossible to load error message anymore. I re-do the test to times (deleting custom objects). Same things.

So if you are experiencing such a message, verify that you are connected before all things. If you are not, it could be the source of the troublles.
If you are, it is that the message is corresponding to another error.
If you experiencing such things and find somes origins and solutions of the problem, please, write a note in this thread

obviously i was connected,
https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=6844
all bugs currently known.

the save-bug made me lose my custom objects, and I have no way of getting them back.
same with a few of my levels, I will never get them back.
Unless the level is saved partially in space lbp cannot reach atm.
but im guessing my level is lost for ever.

Don't delete it. Try copying it to another place on your moon first. If it then appears as a blank level then you'll probably have to wait for the next big LBP update.

This still doesn't make sense because your prize bubbles aren't saved on the LBP server. They are saved with your level, hence why a prize bubble actually takes thermo.

If your prize bubbles would be only saved in your profile data (accessible through your popit), this means everybody who needs that data (aka anybody playing your level online) would need to download from your saved/profile data wich makes no sense. When you're offline nobody would be able to load your level and play...

I had 'failed to load level' on my Dragon Rider 2 level. I couldn't open it, move it or copy it. After Yarg (1.12), it still wouldn't load.

I was honestly about to delete it, but then I downloaded Creator Pack 1, tried one more time to open it, and it loaded!

Now, I don't know what exactly fixed this level, but I have heard people say that you need to try and open or move it on your moon a few times before it works. I really don't know, I'm sorry.

But my advice is don't delete it, contact Mm (even though they didn't reply to me, which is understandable as they probably had hundreds of sets of data).

Hope it gets fixed!

Cheers,
