Save music to PS3

Archive: 3 posts

Is there a way I can save music made in lBP2 to the PS3 hardrive? Me and a friend have been working on some music and I think it would be nice if I could be able to listen to it on my ipod, but to do that it need to be on the PS3 HD. So, is this possible?2012-07-19 07:18:00

The game doesn't have an output option, but you can play the song in the game and record it on your computer using a 1/8th cable from your TV to your computer (headphone jack to microphone jack). You can also use an RCA to 1/8th conversion cable to connect directly from the PS3 to your computer.

EDIT An even simpler solution (less work for you, more for someone else) may be to share the song with someone and have them record it and send you the MP3. I would volunteer but I'm not in a position to get it done right away.

I do have those wires and did it once, I could do it if nobody can. The quality should be good enough, here's a sample I made:

It feels odd to listen to your own music though ^^
You can send me the music as LBPGift (just remind me what it is in the mail, psn id is pivottt (no worries, I won't copy it or use it for anything)
If you don't want to send it, you'll have to find someone else as I don't play LBP much lately so I probably won't be online when you are.
