Ideas for a New Project...

Since my Final Fantasy game has been too much work at times. I person thinking I should of went more simple in terms of Logic and gameplay.

Few new ideas... Hack & Slash gameplay. Dungeon clearing. Kinda like Final Fantasy Crystal Chroncles. Maybe even making it very simple.

The other Idea is a Shooter/Castlevania /Maybe- Devil May Cry style gameplay. Hopefully will be like Resient Evil.

Personally would like to ya from you guys about the subject.

Point System will be your Ammo amount.

Using more powerful weapons - more points.

Ammo Cost. This isn't Gun cost.
normal bullet -20pts
Shot gun -50pts
Missile Launcher -900pts (1 Shot Kill)
Green Herb -50pts Heals 2HP
Green Spray -100pts Heals 6HP

Players will start with 300pts. Can go around picking up Ammo Packages.

Lets say ammo packs can go from 90pts/150pts/300pts.

Each Level will have some sorta Start & Finish. Main idea is its gonna be sorta hard all the way threw. Either Save your ammo and run away or blast your threw and see what you have left to work with towards end of the level.

Also there will be a Green Herb/Herb Spray delay of 10-20secs. You will be able to have as many herbs as you like if you have enough pts to burn.

Few ideal gameplay controls id like to place in. Up/Middle/Down Shooting (Think Contra).
No Jumping.
Dark Areas/Maybe even Black with lightning only around sackbot/Flash Light
