To put this in perspective, that's a longer time span than Marty McFly initially travelled back in time with a car sporting some panels just like these.

They are at a metal stamping plant in Warren Michigan, right next to the shipping dock. (where I pick up hoods for 2013 Dodge Chargers)... I think they were QC proofs because each panel has "Display Only" stencilled on them.

I can do better (http://delorean.com/). They still make them, they restore old ones, and they're working on an electric version. The new ones also cost about as much as a 2013 Porsche Boxster. And yes, I quite like cars.

I knew they still make them, but these are panels from when they were made for Delorean. Also, due to the nature of the company these are displayed at, these are probably prototypes, as The parts I pick up are prototype hoods for next years charger.
