A crown for OmegaSlayer

So ok this has nothing to do with the How does it fill to own a crown thread.But i did take notice in to some one who has not been crowned and plays a larg part of Lbpc who was in that thread and,I think hes very deserving of a crown.Hes been apart of the contest's He seems to be a great member..I am some what new here but from what iv seen and heard about (OmegaSlayer) I think its time for him to be crowned.So if you could and fill that hes deserving to,Put your name down and mabe..Just mabe Mm spaff will see your support.

Because Mm is perfectly aware of the effort he has contributed and havn't done anything so far...

Like so many in our community who havn't got crowns or indeed any recognition for their work, a current example being that the spotlight crew only just got crowns after 80 episodes for their efforts... however others can get one simply for a level... it's just not a fair system.

Omega is a perfect candidate, but like many is sadly ignored.

Awarding someone a crown just for popularity on a website doesn't sound very fair in my opinion.
If OmegaSlayer really wants a crown then he should enter a contest like everyone else.

Unfortunately, I don't believe that MM will listen to this thread and I have long agreed that he is very skilled and lacks that certain shine on his head.

However, a lot of other people do deserve it as well, I certainly don't, but I could name a few right now.

Nobody's saying he should get a crown for being popular. The feeling is that he should get one for running the regular contests here, since he puts a lot of his own time into doing something for the LBP community and gains nothing personally from it. I got a crown just for turning up a the Tarsier game jam, which wasn't really "earning" one. There are people like Omega who have done a lot more for the community than I ever have, who are more deserving of a crown than I am....yet they have never been awarded one in recognition of their effort.		2012-07-17 23:56:00

Although I don’t write often in the forums, I know perfectly well how Omega has done and given to the Lbp community.All he has done He has always done with his Big heart and with a Great and true Passion.
he is an honest and sincere person and always helpful and kindly with everyone.
A Big Friend.
In addition to a lbp crown,if existed,I would have given him also another one for the human values and for the friendship.

I can't believe he haven't got a crown yet :/.
I've known him since I first joined the community. He always help the other and do a lot of things for the community. He also deserve to be a moderator at lbpcentral imo.

I would never expect such kindness, some of your comments really moved me.
If I must mention one I will say Shadowriver's one since he never gets into politic stuff.
Though, seriously, that's something that will never happen.
There has been more than one occasion where I could have been awarded if my work would have been recognized, but especially in one occasion I was deliberately skipped, so, please guys, stop wasting your time and don't tarnish your keyboards for me.
There's no intention to Crown me despite what I've done, so please lock this stuff.
Must blame my tongue, but I don't regret it.
Though it's a sad day for everyone when what people do is purposedly ignored.

That's the reason why some mebers of the Community involve their time in preparing and judging contests, because they DO KNOW that who should pay attention to give Crowns for in game content is not paying the right attention.
You touch a very sensible spot here that for various reasons I can't comment further than this, sorry.
Just know that without the extra curricular work of lots of persons, from spotlighters to judges, the chances for people to be Crowned or noticed would be very much, a lot, really, a ton, horribly lower.
If you haven't realized this, and I can swear it's not related to the content on this thread, you haven't understood nothing of the concepts of "share" and "Community" of LBP, sorry.		2012-10-21 07:09:00
