Quite simple, you just need a Tag on the projectile and to make sure your Impact Sensor is looking for the same colour and label. You may need to tick the 'Include Touching' option on the Impact Sensor - I forget.
If you're looking for how to set up a damage/health system, I'd recommend giving this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4GaCQ1eRVE) a watch.

In one of my levels i made a boss that shoot epic lasers. It only destroys sackbots and players though It's simply a long green piece of hologram material which i plasmafied. I also put the laser sound effect from the metal gear solid DLC on it (i think the epic horn sound effect from the science fiction sounds will also do). Furthermore, i put a tag on it which activates a shaking camera.2012-07-12 00:35:00

Could you maybe have a thick piece of hologram, and fit those impact-exploding bombs you can find in your tools bag in them? You can try putting a anti-gravity tweaker on the bomb, and gluing multiple bombs to the hologram, making sure the bombs are small enough to hide in the holograms glow. This way instead of the object being damaged by the whole thing exploding, chunks of it will be cut out when the laser hits it.

Would this work? I'm just trying to think outside of the box.
