Literally a minute ago, I had an idea: what if the LBPC Community was a level? I know this is a very oddball idea, but just think about it: each willing user could have their own in-game representation that could be enemies(??) to the player. The player would hop from forum to forum & each one would have a theme: LittleBigPlanet News Gamer Magazines Newspapers Gamer Websites Interviews Everything Else LittleBigPlanet Humorous Speculation A LOT of questions YOUR LittleBigPlanet Ideas! A JUMBLED mess of machines, level designs, stories, ect. A big lightbulb that you swing on? LittleBigPlanet Media Screenshots of Videos Actual Videos (Please YouTube integration DLC!!) A giant Stix-vision (with permission of course...) Introduce Yourselves A LOT of users will be here Maybe a user map? General Video Game Talk Here is the part where we hope we don't get sued!: Games Covers & Characters (duh! ) General Chat A running dialogue between users? (Randomness!) Your Artwork and Designs Yay! The Creative Part! Everyone can submit their art & it will be covered in stickers. Forum Updates The technical part. I don't know what goes here, I'm no admin. The best part though is.... LBP WILL BE THE FINAL BOSS! :eek: Also, if you would like to participate as an enemy/NPC/???, just fill out this form: Name of Character: (Your username/Nickname/Whatever you like) Function: (Enemy/NPC/???) A picture: (What should the character look like??) AI: (How should he work? Does he walk around? Hit people? Talk?) Anything Else: (Yeah, I'm lazy!! ) Any ideas? Is this a good idea or a bad one? If you don't like it, I'm not surprised. This is a very different idea... I will make this level if no superiors want to make it.

while this is really cool... the player limit might make it not that possible maybe? plus it would take a while for a simple update. however it's a cool idea and if it worked it would be wicked.

Ok, here is a Miniboss form: Attacks: Defense: Weakness: Dodging: Difficulty: Length: Reward: i see. let me think... well as i have a great love for hideo kojimas' mechs (metal gears & zone of the enders machines) i think i'd be something like that myself. Attacks: missiles that fire and land from above. and electrical balls sent along the ground. Defense: won't have much - just the attacks to be honest. Weakness: seen zone of the enders? well... http://www.halifax.it/best/zoe2/img/art/jehuty002_color_sin.jpg that penis looking thing is where the runner is held. basically the cockpit (ironic - oui?). well there would be something like that on the mech (not in the same place) where supposedly 'i' am held. that's the weakness. Dodging: just some maneuvering - but not much. Difficulty: depends how good you are at dodging! Length: as in time to beat? or height? time to beat... a small while. but very high! not too wide. Reward: You can have the mech to use yourself. is this what you mean?

I'll post this above also, but here is a quick poll: http://www.99polls.com/poll_22847 Ok: this is why I want voting. vBExperience only takes in account certain things like posts- it does NOT detect 'helpfulness' or 'dedication' or 'friendliness' (to my knowledge) I much rather get a representation of each forum then have, for example, a Marino boss in the Welcome thread- where I rarely visit. Voting, however, is more personal, that is why democracy generally works (not so much in the US )

Name of Character: Stixorz, Keeper of the Sacred Magic Visual Box....(or just Stixorz, if that < is a bit too epic for you >_> <_< ) Function: (Enemy) A picture: (Will post one up in a bit, gotta draw it first ^^) AI: Will ask of the player to solve three riddles (or puzzles)...if they fail in at least one of them...they don't get to watch TV, and therefore have to try again! If they get all three right, they have to dodge three of my attacks and get to an auto destruct button at the end of my level to destroy me, and therefore winning the TV item ^^

I have thought about something like this you could use, My idea was just a level inside the internet, but you could do a part that has a "computer screen" with three dimensional letters that the sack ppl have to climb up to get to the top of the screen. You could even have it so that the scroll bar is at the top. They would have to climb to the top of the page to grab the scroll bar, and hang on to it as it pulls down, which would scroll the text to the bottom of the 'screen' where a key could be hidden to a secret part of the level or a new section. I was going to do this with a picture in the Internet level, and have certain parts of the picture three dimentional.

For the general discussion, make it somewhat chaotic. Lots of interconnecting layers. And random stickers all over the place. (You can fill that in yourself.) For the creation zone, you can have the levels be based on lots of partially-finished pieces of equipment. So, some have some more blank areas in it, some purposely fail to dump you in the next zone, some appear broken and you simply walk over them, etc. Mixed in with random other, finished bits and pieces. For example, you hop on a roller coaster, come up to a loop, and run into a hole in the track and fall down, depositing you in the next area. [/random ideas]

A picture: Google red panda! awesome species - but with a brief LBP addon, like putting a general themed hat with whatever area he is seen AI: I'd be happy just being seen jumping in the background (or if the idea is liked, just be a character that scurries up the the players and "warns/tells" them about some emergency or construction (whatever story part) is going on in the next section) Anything Else: I can help with the character design if neccesary - can't wait to play with the editor to see what we can come up with :hero:
