Name what fits under the category
Archive: 262 posts
Hello there! I have played this game with my mom a few weeks ago. The point here is to name anything that classifies under the category. Here are the rules: 1. When there's one category, make sure whatever you name fits under the category. 2. Nothing can be named twice. 3. Only one thing per post. 4. No multi-posting. The last one to think of something that fits in the category (that means nobody else can think of something else) wins. The winner gets to start the next round and chooses what category he/she wants. If you get to choose what category you want, you get to make the rules for the category. However, the forbidden categories are anything about Little Big Planet, LBP Central (or other fansites), or politics. Round 1: Our category is Characters from Spongebob Squarepants You can name even lesser known characters (like King Neptune) from the show, but once somebody names one character, do not name the same one. | 2012-07-10 18:52:00 Author: Apple2012 Posts: 1408 |

To Valeview: Here's the new rule. If nobody can think of anything within 48 hours, the last person to post can start a new category. Now here's the important thing. Just because I said that doesn't mean you can abandon the topic until then. BTW, good job for naming that character. Who can forget that? We've been naming a lot of minor characters or guest characters, but it's good to start out with them so we can save room for the major characters. New Rule: if a category is complete, then the one who finishes the previous category gets to start a new category. The Cyclops (the deep sea diver from the Spongebob Movie) Technically, you can never finish a category where you're listing names of characters since there is always 'Generic fish 1' and stuff. The guy who tells Patrick to "Get outta town!" And the "Health inspector". I hate to tell you this, but one of my rules say that you can only name one character at a time. And besides, Valeview is right. You can only name a character once. @Speedynutty: You are also right. This category isn't easy to complete, so I'm going to file this exception only once. The next person (besides me) to post will start a new category and make the category rules. Last Character: Squilliam Fancyson | 2012-07-15 20:06:00 Author: Apple2012 Posts: 1408 |
New category: Animals! Same rules as the first group, except that you can't be general and just say "birds". You have to say a certain type. Crocodiles! | 2012-07-15 21:06:00 Author: L1N3R1D3R Posts: 13447 |

Robo, you might have to use that same exception again later on, since it will be a long, long time before this category is ever completed. Ring-tailed cat | 2012-07-15 22:59:00 Author: Dragonvarsity Posts: 5208 |

Hey, maybe that was because some people look over this thread. Plus, only nine animals is way too small. Maybe it was because such a category could go on until the end of time. I agree with Apple, I think we should try a different category. | 2012-07-18 19:09:00 Author: Dragonvarsity Posts: 5208 |
Maybe it was because such a category could go on until the end of time. I agree with Apple, I think we should try a different category. Yeah, thanks for agreeing with me. This category is bigger than the last one, and we stopped posting in 48 hours. This is the rule here. Yugioh (Original, GX, 5 D's, Zexal, all versions essentially) I guess nobody said we had to list good cartoons. Sorry if this bursts your balloon, but every episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! I've ever been exposed to has been ten minutes of announcing contrived gameplay moves interspersed with five minutes of lamenting internal monologue and six minutes of hyperbole and trash talk, with the remaining minute split between the title sequence and a tacked on denouement. (Nothing against you, I'm just whatever the opposite of an avid fan is of those shows.) Has anybody said Recess yet? Or Batman: TAS? | 2012-08-02 18:46:00 Author: DreadRandal Posts: 434 |

It doesn't burst my balloon, I completely agree with what you said. I was just listing it for the heck of it. Seeing how IMDB actually has it's own webpage for "Yugioh: The Abridged series", I guess you could throw that in with the other versions. And no, no-one have said either of those. Alright, my last post was over 2 days ago, so... Should I start a new category? Yes, but L1N3R1D3R tried to save the category. But the animated TV shows category is over. So it's time for a new category. | 2012-08-10 00:22:00 Author: Apple2012 Posts: 1408 |
Alrighty then, the new category can be female heroines then. (doesn't have to be an overall main character, it can be someone like Hermione I suppose) Jade, from Beyond Good and Evil | 2012-08-10 00:43:00 Author: Dragonvarsity Posts: 5208 |

Well, I'd say no, because "sackgirl" isn't an actual character per se. Lara Croft. | 2012-08-14 15:15:00 Author: Ali_Star Posts: 4085 |
Does Sackgirl count? I'd have to agree wuth Ali_star. The only real sackperson character in the story modes is 'Sackthing'. Because it's a very customisable character, it could fall under basically any category of characters. Sarene, from the book 'Elantris'. | 2012-08-14 18:40:00 Author: Dragonvarsity Posts: 5208 |

Sorry Joruto, but it's been 2 days. Since I picked last, I think it's only fair that you pick , not only posting recently, but being the second-last to post within the timeframe. Actually, it doesn't matter if you got to start a new category twice in a row. I know you picked last time, but you were the last one to post, so you get to start a new category again. There's also no limit on how many categories you can start. NEW RULE: A category should have at least ten items named before starting a new category. Even if no response is made within 48 hours. So if there are at least ten items are named within the same category, and if no response is made within 48 hours, a new category can be started. It will take effect on the next category. | 2012-09-08 14:05:00 Author: Apple2012 Posts: 1408 |

I'm not sure if this category will get up to ten items. The thing is - it's too specific. I should come up with a new rule. Categories cannot be too specific. And I don't know what "Iconic" means. Valentines Day, or as I like to call it, "my birthday". And I don't know what "Iconic" means. ... You have the entire internet at your disposal. Hundre* no, thousands of free dictionaries, thesauri and encyclopediae are a few keystrokes away. On most web browsers, you can even highlight any text in a foreign tongue and have it instantly translated. You have the cataloged knowledge of billions of individuals at your disposal. A mind numbing amount of information if you stop and think about it. All that is needed to tap it is a little initiative. Sorry. I don't mean to pick on you, Apple. It's just that that in this day and age, I can no longer comprehend life without instant answers, or at least hypotheses to the things I don't know. I was just surprized, I guess. No hard feelings, I hope. | 2012-09-15 02:23:00 Author: DreadRandal Posts: 434 |
