A new year is upon us and wanted to get back in the swing of things with our first post of 09. For our new members of the LBP community, we?re glad you can join us and look forward to seeing you online. Welcome to our weekly ?Sack it to me? segment, where we answer the LBP community?s questions and concerns. For the rest of you, welcome back, hope you had chance over the break to create some cool levels. Anyway, back to the post?so here goes. More Metal Gear Solid Goodies After Media Molecule got done with the MGS packs, they had some fun and created a bunch of cool art. We know you guys love updating your forum signatures, wallpapers and websites so we thought we?d provide these? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3319/3177344645_2d30d76cea.jpg 1.07 Aftermath Our teams Liverpool and Media Molecule have been busy analyzing and crunching the data to respond to feedback you?ve been giving in response to the 1.07 update. All of your input on the forums have been a great source of information and you?ll be glad to hear they?re hard at work on a patch for the 1.07 update that should resolve many of the issues that have been reported. We?ll have further news on this patch once we?re a little closer to it being ready. For those of you experiencing the ?Full Profile? message, since the issue revolves around the amount / complexity of the community objects in your Popit tool, for now your best bet is to delete a chunk of unwanted objects from your inventory. DLC update We ended 2008 with a big bang (or maybe we should say ?a big bucket of paint?), and hope you?ve enjoyed our weekly deliveries of a wide array of downloads. Well, it sounds like officially MM are looking into the save file problems, which is good news. At least they are aware of it and have mentioned it, which is a big start. I think that having a profile too large and not being aware of it is what is causing the problem. Deleting unnecessary level back ups, clearing out the community objects (and my objects for that matter) of unnecessary or unused things, and reducing the amount of photos you have should help bring down your profile size.

Ironically enough I was doing some random player online stuff in the story mode. We had a go at the bunker and then moved on to collector's lair. The party had changed (or at least the player costumes had) when we swapped levels. Well, anyway. There was someone wearing the "extremely RARE Prize Crown". Either it's not as rare as they are letting on, or I am one of the few fortunate enough to meet someone who has one. I took a pic of them, I'll have to upload it soon.

They should have said to stay away from the "300 Free Items/Prizes" levels if you want to be able to save your game. I'm hopping that they push out a patch soon with a profile size increase.

There was someone wearing the "extremely RARE Prize Crown". Either it's not as rare as they are letting on, or I am one of the few fortunate enough to meet someone who has one. I took a pic of them, I'll have to upload it soon. I think it's only been given to about 4 people so far. Maybe a little more or less, but that's about right. So yeah, you're one of the lucky ones.

Let's see if I can upload this picture right. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c336/Elbee23/ThecrownofLBP.jpg The crown person is on the left, a random person is in front of the checkpoint, and that's me on the right in the center. It's my normal costume of a cat in a trenchcoat. Flash can testify that's me, he's seen me in that gear often enough. The crown person played pretty well. We nearly cleared the collectors lair, managed to do the 4 player without any hassles, but managed to die in the second electric winch section. That's pretty good for a random group. Oh lookie! The picture import worked! [rubs hands with possibilities] :hero: Now if only I could get rid of that thumbnail thingy down the bottom...
