Reset Level Portions Upon Dying???

I have a section near the end of my level where six plasma infused sackbots are in a cage. When I walk past the cage it falls apart and the bots begin to chase me. My question is this: if they catch and kill me, is there a way to reset the cage with the bots inside? They way it is now, the bots just crowd the checkpoint and I die over and over. First place a player sensor by the checkpoint and wire it into a tag. Then have a tag sensor on the bots, wire that into a destroyer. Hang your cages by hologram with a gravity tweaker (100% dampening). However if you have multiple people, one person could stay behind at the checkpoint, and the other could go and open the cage, and the player at the checkpoint could keep resetting it, thus making some rather undesirable stuff. What I suggest you do is make the checkpoint at the top of a big drop, so that once youre down you cant get back up, and then have the checkpoint way out of sight of the cage so that no one can be at the cage and another at the checkpoint at the same time. | 2012-07-08 13:28:00 Author: ATMLVE Posts: 1177 |
