I started working on this level just a few weeks after the game itself was released. I managed to finish the level but chose not to publish it because I wasn't happy with the result. Now, after almost 1,5 years I have decided to publish it. Why now? You may ask, and really, I have no idea why I chose to publish it now because I hate it just as much as I did back then.

Now to the level..

It's a platformer that is somewhat reminiscent of the Larry levels in the story mode. There are a few puzzles here and there, a bunch of bounce pads and some grapple hook sections. Also worth mentioning is that the level is kinda short.

Here's a couple of pics (Second picture is zoomed out)

Hey, from the images it looks like a lot of time and care went in to this level and it looks well-designed. Does't seem to have much plays though - so I'll play it! In the first area, when you a behind the glass and have pulled down the 2-way switch - there is a VISIBLE game camera. The level design was thorough throughout and showed attention to detail - it looked good but also a bit choppy in some area's which I cant explain why =[
The gameplay was good though, it moved quickly from obstacle and obstacle and was well-placed. The gameplay was actually excellent and very fun and challenging! I loved the emited bounce bads in the converyor-like obstacle. THe next obstacle with the colored in/out movers also looked really neat and it had a nice sound effect going - which then made me realize that this seemed to have been lacking in the previous areas!
Overall the level was well designed and I espcially liked the gameplay with was very full/challenging and interesting. The design was however a little bit choppy at times - and to give you an example of what I mean. The last area of the level, with the rotating bounce pads which you ascend via - there a spikes on either side - they don't really look like they belong there and look unnatural - and that is the choppy-ness I am describing. An enjoyable level which really lacks plays for some reason! Liked and hope more people play this enjoyable level = ]
If you have the time, I'd also appreciate it if you reviewed my level too: http://lbp.me/v/cffp5-

Thanks. I have no idea what may cause this choppy-ness since it has never happened to me while playing the level. It may be the high thermo though. I'll fix some things in the level whenever I'm on LBP the next time. Thanks again 2012-07-09 10:54:00

Woo! I'm top of the scoreboard! Hopefully it should stay that way when this level get's more popular (which it should, btw).

Can't see why you would hate it, it's a nice solid platformer.

Pretty fun level and how it loops back on itself is pretty well thought out.2012-07-16 13:07:00
