You have to find some mysterious thing hidden in there for a long time. Don't hesitate to platform all the way

Easy - medium platforming level spiced with great music made by my favorite LBP music maker O165_Vivaldi-NL. Hope you'll enjoy.

Hey, this looks like a really well done level from the pictures. If you also wouldn't mind reviewing my level: http://lbp.me/v/cffp5-
Anyways, here's what I though. At the very start the text reads "Long time ago...", this sounds off and I didn't make sense, shouldn't it read "A long time ago...".
The car looked pretty neat and I loved how my sackboy came on it and was allowed special entry to the pyramid =P
When the level started, I liked the music it seemed appropriate to the theme/concept of the level. The level seemed quite uniform in design - there seemed to be too much of the "Hieroglyph" material, but I loved the way that there was always immediately something for you to do in the level.
There was something that was a little glitchy though I think, the first wheel that looks like a nuclear sign and spins after you pull the level down - I got stuck behind it after just standing on it and seeing what it would do. It was impossible to get out so I self-imploded. This happened twice. But once again, I really felt the level was always alive and it gave you something to do all the time. Which was really good gameplay.
In the area with the two snake head, or something, I could not figure out what to do. I then figured out to make the rings on his ear parrallell. But even after this, I could not get to the upper platform, I jumped on top of the other snake head and still could not get there. Then I figured to grab his eye. This part was really puzzly - which you probably intended since it is, after all, a pyramid. So in that sense, even though it was confusing, it was smart and interesting.
At the end, I don't understand too well what happened - and the random things emitting on top of the scoreboard looked strange.
But, overall, definitely a very good level - especially in the style of gameplay, very orginal and excellent! Although the theme seemed to uniform at times! Liked and Hearted!

Queued your level.

When you see that kind of language fault, you know for sure that author's first language isn't english Thank you for the correction.

It's intended trap, but you can go out if you jump in right time. I was thinking to put there gas, but decided to give player a chance.

Yes, it's a little puzzle, and there are bubbles and moving parts which give a clue.

Please tell me what random things emitting on top of the scoreboard ? Only intended emitting should to portray penetrating through sandy soil and is not above the scoreboard, but on the ground. Of course, question is did I do that successfull

Thank you for playing, like, heart and review !

I really enjoy a well made eygptian themed level and especially when the gameplay suits the theme. This is one of two I've played recently that were very well done (I think the other was Genie @triple_sss)
I thought the cinematics at the start set up the level well and the journey through the pyramid had some great variety of game mechanisms and platforming. I especially liked the way little hidden devices would propell you onwards like little traps, very suited to the theme as real pyramids were filled with traps and surprises. I made it through without gettting lost at any point and the little restricted area finale with the scoreboard emissions etc., sometimes folks don't add anything here and that can sometimes be a little anti-climax. Overall a good fun platforming level!

I loved the effort put in this level, but I thought the platforming was shallow and the level became challenging only when things weren't working the way they were intended to function. I feel kind of bad not giving you a like or heart for this level, even though I don't think the level should get it, but you certainly deserve a heart. I can't wait to see future projects from you!2012-07-12 02:07:00

@EnochRoot Thank you Enoch ! I will review The Shadow of Your Smile as soon as i can.

@BIGGamerer

... the level became challenging only when things weren't working the way they were intended to function.
?
Here's your in game review too:

The platforms were designed without actual platforming in mind. Either the level played itself out in shallow fashion, or the platforms themselves erred and created unintended challenges.

??? LOL. Probably the level is even created by itself ! Are you serious ?
You know better than me what I intended?
I can understand if you don't like the level, but to claim such things is frivolous.
I can assure you that everything in the level is done with the intention.
If you found some bug, I will be very thankful if you show it to me.

The spinning pinwheel portion really grinded my gears. It took me about 20 tries of landing in the same location to get lucky on physics so it could fling me to the grabbable sponges and then another 5 tries to get lucky on physics on the next platform that looked like two eyebrows arranged in some cyclone way. The portion with lots of point bubbles really
annoyed me too. It was another luck fest as to whether or not all the point bubbles could be collected.

Actually, a good portion of the level was a luck fest of doing the same repetitive task repeatedly just so the platform would work. That seemed to stick out like a sore thumb on the grabbable 3/4 circle platforms that are meant to fling the player upwards. Well, they did it, inconsistently. I don't think you intended for me or others to try navigating the same platform repeatedly in the same way just so they could have some lucky physics go their way.

I see no reason not to play through a second time and give a second opinion, but since you can't take my feedback seriously without getting a laugh out of it, I won't bother. Heh, who knows. Maybe if you shoved that "My level is great because every reviewer says it is, why do you hate it because of that?" attitude in the face of at least one of the 1,700+ people who didn't like the level and review it, they might point out the same things I have to point out.

First, in previous post I said that I can understand if you don't like the level.
Second, I never said that the level is great.
Third, my focus was on the "intention". Everything in the level is done with intent, and not all parts are easy. Although I have met players who say that my level is easy, my intention was to be "medium". I'm sorry if some of these parts were frustrating to you, but there are ways to pass all the obstacles without use of "luck".

However, thank you for playing and sharing your experience, it will be useful for me.
