Archive: 10 posts
Hey, you! Wanna Nudge? Try out my new tutorial and collect your own Nudge Tool. http://i9.lbp.me/img/bl/629e81e54795da4f7b4f8235efc5e0502d270c83.png (http://lbp.me/v/cn82yf) The Nudge Tool moves objects 1/4 or 1/2 layer and can also change the thickness of some in-game objects. By nudging objects and materials, you can create your own Sublayers and add detail to your levels. Includes and explanation of Sublayers and a whole load of collectible items. Here are the four regular Thin layers: http://i0.lbp.me/img/ft/15051668cff82a32a5e4a05defbf91234860df14.jpg And with the addition of nine Thin Sublayers: http://ic.lbp.me/img/ft/25ca3bd480ad95d877bf34d1c1e29b5d13d802a9.jpg Thin in-game objects can be turned into Thack, which you can walk on and grab: http://ic.lbp.me/img/ft/bbc79d2cf4116fa292c77dde8d7a5d7a8a7f23a0.jpg Two or three layer in-game objects can be reduced to one layer thickness. No extra layers here, these balls are only one layer: http://i2.lbp.me/img/ft/5a27eb1a0e0410496d06302cdbf7901abee111f5.jpg Some in-game objects can be distorted by nudging only certain parts: http://ib.lbp.me/img/ft/a6bcfad4dc4325012cde6c0718b647cda09d4474.jpg The whole process of creating this tool is rather long and complicated, but it's all in this blog if you'd like to read: http://mockthock.blogspot.com/ | 2012-07-06 20:02:00 Author: Pookachoo Posts: 838 |
My friend did this before with checkpoints awhile back 8^) but cool that you made a tool for it that is made just for it, since the way my friend made the checkpoints is different and unreliable http://i7.lbp.me/img/ft/d3753af65394d8b272ac64655ae067eb67adf028.jpg Edit But me and jimmy have had ways to make thick objects thin and thin objects thick for a while now 8^) http://lbp.me/v/0h82vv http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HB7sg51nvU0&t=1m58s But I only gave away the material to make thin objects thick, not thick to thin. | 2012-07-06 20:38:00 Author: lve_msg Posts: 408 |
[size="4"] No extra layers here, these balls are only one layer: *Immature giggle* All sillyness aside, this looks awesome. Will try it out later | 2012-07-06 20:41:00 Author: Valeview Posts: 1581 |

Yes, Jimmy showed me those; although I've had mixed results and a some system freezes. | 2012-07-06 22:09:00 Author: Pookachoo Posts: 838 |
"As a man of impeccable creation skills the reward of nine more layers tempts me; but your pitch is terrible!" Lol joke. I thought it was funny Anyway, this looks really useful and I have queued your level now so that I can play when I next get on. Thanks in advance and I will be sure to leave a review etc. LIAM | 2012-07-06 22:18:00 Author: LittleBigSnooth Posts: 454 |

[size="4"]Two or three layer in-game objects can be reduced to one layer thickness. No extra layers here, these balls are only one layer So you created a thock? I thought that was impossible? | 2012-07-09 23:57:00 Author: dutch Posts: 54 |
So you created a thock? I thought that was impossible? The beach balls are one normal layer thickness, but retain the appearance of three layers. I think it is impossible to make Thock, but what you can do with the tool is make what I call "Mock Thock." It's Theck nudged backward 1/4 layer. It fits in front of Thack and is grabbable, but it collides with the wafer thin layer and if selected, it will shift back into the Theck position. | 2012-07-10 19:15:00 Author: Pookachoo Posts: 838 |
