Opinion on a beta test

Hi there, all you happy gadders  I was talking to a friend about my level the other night, and we were kind of 50/50 divided on this... My level is taking a very long time to complete and is probably, at the very least, about 4/5 weeks away from being done. I was wondering, would people be interested in me releasing a short demo of the gameplay? I was debating on this for ages.... The demo would be an example of the gardens, with some test effects included. What do people think? | If it's say, a platformer that's taking you ages to complete, you should always just grab those obstacles and throw them into a quick level, polish it up a little then publish it, that way people can already get an idea on what to expect and then you can update the level with the full one once it's done and the people that hearted it before will be able to find it Edit: An example from me is that I'm making a top-down shooter, and my older version of it had a quick concept put together where you walk around a small city area and there are zombies, even though I was intending for the full version to be much larger and more complex, and feature enemy people as well as zombies, it's still a good way to get your level known. | 2012-07-07 01:08:00 Author: Unknown User  |
