I know that pictures can be imported from PS Eye and a USB Stick. But is that the same way to import your own background images?

I know that pictures can be imported from PS Eye and a USB Stick. But is that the same way to import your own background images? The video from which you got your information is a year old, It's not valid, so that's not true.. There's probably not any Importing Images, it's almost been confirmed. I'm pretty sure backgrounds are backgrounds, and we can't use pictures for them.. You can probably sticker over them though.

That thread was unvalidated by some new information that popped up after I posted it. It's not exactly accurate anymore. Cartman, could you edit the first post of that thread, put in a text in bold that says the current situation, so everyone can stay updated from that thread? Also, editing the thread title might help, as that seems to be the main place of disussion for said feature.
