Administration Transition

Hey everyone! Due to recent events, I can't call myself administrator of LBPCentral for much longer. Don't worry, I'm not going away entirely! Due to an opportunity I've recently come into, I just can't be the guy to manage LBPCentral anymore.

So, we're bringing on someone new! Well, he's not exactly new - he's been around for longer than many of us. He's done a lot of work as a Staff member, he's familiar with the community, and he's quite brilliant to boot. Please join me in welcoming warlord_evil (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?4945-warlord_evil) to to the team!

War's been my friend since the LittleBigStore had costumes you could count on your left hand. He's wickedly artistic, unflinchingly kind, just the right amount of eccentric, and while he may not strike people as the techy type, once you see his work with webpage and video game design you'll be floored.

And you, CC, you'll always be my little admin - seriously, though, it's sad to see you retire.

I'd like to thank CC as well, for all the hard and dedicated work he's done, not all of it was always seen either, a lot of great things were done behind-the-scenes to help out the community.

Then again, I could take a guess and assume this was due to a particular job that you wanted all those years ago... That would make sense.

Still, thanks for four years of keeping this place up, and I'll try to learn how to deal with such a transition

Wow MB, so ends one chapter huh? Thanks man for all that you've done with and for LBPC and the community as a whole. Good luck with your future endeavors and don't be a stranger. It's going to be hard not seeing your name in green any more.
Warlord, I don't know whether to congratulate you or feel for you, maybe a little of both and I'll try not to bombard you with too many questions your first week.
So what's the first order of business his excellency? Fix the LBP.me tool for the level showcase? Being able to add pictures when you first start a thread in the showcase, or restore Biorogue's level 100 Status!!

CC, as others have mentioned above, your contributions to LBPC have made this an incredible site, and it has certainly stood the test of time. We will miss you, and words simply do not convey how grateful we are. You have a bright future ahead of you.

Congrats warlord...still considering a name change...let me suggest "The_Admininator___previously_a_warlord_oh_and_evil _guy_too".

Thank you for such a marvelous site CC, I don't LBP would have been the same without a site like this alongside it. By developing LBPC to what it is today you've helped arrange countless friendships and hosted years of laughter. I cannot imagine posting here without knowing your name is in green. Thanks for your years of service and dedication, don't be a stranger.

I never thought this day would come

But it has, so I'd just like to thank CC for the tremendous amount of time and effort you've put into this little corner of the vast and unusual wilderness we call the internet. LBPC has gone through many changes during my time here, and while I may not always have agreed with your decisions at the time, they have always been for the benefit of the community and, in retrospect have always turned out to be the best thing to do. That's why you were the administrator, not me You've always been incredibly helpful and reliable, even after all the times I've endlessly pestered you about projects that never came into fruition, and the like. So thanks again Mr Buffaloe, I hope you don't disappear like lbp did

I believe that this is the start of a new act in the book of LBPC. Speaking of which, we need to name these acts... I suggest:

Act 1: Genesis (lbp as admin)
Act 2: Golden Era (CC as admin)
Act 3: Calm Before the Sotrm (war as admin)

There are a couple of backend things (hosting included) that I'm managing while warlord gets accustomed to his new role, but eventually he'll be handling every aspect of the site. Being admin means doing lots of different things, so it's definitely a learning process. Especially with a community as big and awesome as LBPCentral's

As for whether the site will be different - who knows? As far as I'm concerned, I'm just a community member now. I answer warlord's questions when he has them, but I am intentionally not doing any more than that. It's just not my site to run anymore 		2012-07-08 20:27:00
