I have just published my new level Metallic Place Platformer! I hope you'll like it.
Its only a short Platformer which I have created for fun.

Helpers of the level are MAD-WIZ and MLka23. The awesome music is by breezy-the-pro. <3

Help by MAD-WIZ? I loved "Verdant Velocity"! Music by Breezy-the-Pro? He did an awesome job recreating the LBP1 Wilderness theme in synchronized form. Oh, yeah, this looks like it'll be a treat to play. Here's my review for it below. (Please note that I review levels while I play them, this way I get as much details as I can as it's still fresh in my mind, although sometimes I might refer to not just overall gameplay and visuals, but also go more in-depth, referring to certain segments of the level in some cases.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just as the level begins, you can easily see the scorching hot fire, hidden by rusty metal in a construction-esque looking area. The music combined is absolutely great, well done Breezy. It fits so well with the level's design, and right as you hear it, all you, or at least, all I could think was "Turn back now, or suffer the consequences", and consequences there are. Not long after bouncing across this well-designed, yet unfriendly environment, you start up a little race, and you begin running, facing the different dangers that await you, in this paint-splatted construction zone. Whether you realize it or not, the combination of a race, fast mechanisms, and points flying your way amps up the speed, which is great when racing, creating a more fast-paced tone as you race against the clock.

Sadly though, this "race against the clock" is waay too quickly interrupted, as you just end it a few challenges afterwards, with not-as-quick mechanisms, no timer, and points reverting back to being given when you hit into them, not being magnetized by you like before. Do not get me wrong, the design is still fully intact, continuing this beautiful mix of junkyard colors with pipes and tin cans intricately placed around the level, as is the gameplay, with more bouncing and grappling quickly following. But for me, throwing in that fast-paced feeling race, and then ending it before it even began, ruined the pacing some. This doesn't tarnish the level as a whole, but I still felt it could've been better handled. With races, it's kind of like, all or nothing. Not like it has to begin at the beginning of the level and end at the end, but it should at least last longer than that.

But I think you get the idea of what I'm trying to convey. The mix of a little nature, (moss, mushrooms, ect.) is a good addition, and grabbing onto the different platforms, riding past the beige-colored pipes and yellow-colored tubes was a pretty cool thing to fit in, although I would've maybe made the tube you ride through right after yellow as well, to sort of fit that kind of theme. Some machinery thrown in later is pretty cool as well, although it might have been interesting to see more of it. Here's what I'm referring to in the link below.

Things switch from open areas to tighter corners, still remaining a nice and interesting design, with a scorching hot exterior of the rooms you bounce through. There's also some nice and quick challenges again, and it's pretty clear that the magnetized point bubbles have returned. But then, when you reach a certain area, it jumps away from there, and goes to the scoreboard. I've never really seen this done before, but it was, to be honest, a bit weird. I mean, I was about to go through a tube, so I'm not sure what would be the problem of going through it, and it leading to the scoreboard, isntead of teleporting me to it right as I was about to enter the tube. It's probably just one of my real minor nitpicks, but being transported there like that was a bit weird. The scoreboard area itself was alright, although maybe add a little more pisazz tot he scoreboard itself? Maybe that's just me though.

TL;DR......

Pros
----------
1. Great design and visuals through and through. Dabbling with some nature, and throwing in the painted splats were also pretty cool as well.
2. The gameplay was also great, and I really enjoyed the race at the beginning, including plenty of fast-paced elements, and the platforming later on was cool too.
3. The sounds were nice and solid, and the music at the beginning Breezy made was just awesome, really giving off a dangerous vibe, which truly suited the level itself.

Cons
----------
1. While the race was great, with magnetized points, fast-paced mechanisms, and the timer staring down at you, this feeling brought on felt like it only lasted for a glimpse, as the race itself ended in a blink of an eye. If I were you, I'd take this into consideration. I'm not saying to make the whole level a race, but to have more of it a race, editing some parts right after, to give the same, fast-paced vibe, might make it a little more interesting, and THEN you could end the race, and keep going at the same paced gameplay you had in the later portions of the level.
2. Just a minor complaint, but the random transition to the scoreboard was a bit weird, might be a little better to just elt the player slide down the tin can tube, and let it lead to the scoreboard, but maybe that's just me.

No glitches were found in this level by me.

Overall, this was a true treat to play. Just got a few minor complaints, but besides that, real nice job, I had lots of fun reviewing this.
