The Chase (VERY HARD)

Hello, this level is a chase between a fiery stone and the character with some other obstacles added.

It's really hard btw, do you think i should maybe deacrease the hardness in some parts? Thanks, and hope you enjoy it.

Edit: I left some comments on your level. I think you really shouldn't end the level when the player dies.

I don't really have a choice, because the fiery ball wouldnt be there and also the stuff that fell on the ground would still be on the ground, and whats your F4F lvl i should play?

I probably don't have much say in the matter as I unfortunately can't quite get online at the moment but I say keep the challenge, regardless of the level/difficulty, the more challenging the better. From what I can see, it looks like lots-o' fun.2012-06-30 13:11:00

You should emit them then! Destroy everything that has to be there and emit them again For F4F, you can choose one of the levels in my signature.

First off, the difficulty is fine. While I didn't ace the level, I would actually go so faar as to say its relatively easy. At least now I guess since you made it so that you don't just lose at first death anyway.

Now, here's my critique,

First, your description says to avoid the fiery log, but in my times playing it, the log only played a major role in the first part of the level. Once I left the begining of the second part, I seem to have easily outstripped all of the future ones, making it almost a non-factor.
To that end, you could add more platforming and visual detail, as right now there seems to be a lot of empty space in the level.

Also, the level seems a little disjointed. I didn't feel like I was playing one cohesive level, but instead just three things that happen to be in a line. This kind of goes with visual detail, but I would tighten the theme. Maybe add some background visuals or something.

I thought using an echo voice on the signs was cool. It was a nice, simple effect. Again, work on melding it better with the rest of your level.

Overall, I did enjoy playing this. Some of the platforming that was present was really fun, and the idea of the rushed nature it should have is a good idea. I would just work on it some more to get the effect you seem to have been going for.
