Chip n' Sequence (Video Game & Sonic Music Gallery)
Archive: 5 posts
So this is my collection of covers of Video Game music. I've made a few remixes too and I'm constantly updating it. I've also made a separate level containing some of my earlier covers so I'd say I've made somewhere around 90 songs ranging from popular titles (like Sonic CD, Mega Man X, Super Street Fighter II, etc.) to hidden gems (like Legacy of the Wizard, Journey to Silius, The Neverhood, etc.). 40603 http://lbp.me/v/b755rt http://lbp.me/v/b755rt | 2012-06-29 23:35:00 Author: Unknown User |
Nice collection of music you have going. Also, it was cool that you added little suggestions on how to use them. My only suggestion might be to invest in a teleporter that doesn't kill you. But as for the music itself, they came out really well. | 2012-07-04 20:08:00 Author: xxMATEOSxx Posts: 1787 |
Nice work on music recreations. The "Mega Man" and "Mega Man X" ones are my favorites in this good gallery of yours. Also, the level's opening seriously reminds of "Mega Man X5". My only suggestion is that there should be controlinator teleports instead of teleport deaths (I'm surprised you did it in your other gallery level, but why not this level?). Also, the visuals should have more polishing. Other than that, Good job. VISUALS: 3.5/5 SOUND: 4.5/5 OVERALL: A yay, and I'll be adding this level to one of my recommended lists on lbp.me. | 2012-07-10 03:00:00 Author: JustinArt Posts: 1314 |

Thanks for the feedback. BTW, I created this gallery first and then the Classics one. At around the 40th song or so, I found a Deathless Teleporter but I never had the motiviation to put it in. Besides, it overheats the level and I'm not much of a logic person. I really want to put it in there though. It looks really cool and I too would rather have that than the killing teleport. Nonetheless, the main focus of the level is to showcase music so I didn't think it was that big a deal. Now about the Classics gallery, there all songs that I made before I created the first gallery. Originally, all the songs in the Classics gallery used to be in their own individual levels. Then after about a year had passed and I wanted to make more levels, I figured it's time to conserve space on my earth. So I deleted all the levels and put the songs in their own separate collection. That's pretty much why I put the Deathless Teleporter in there. Because there aren't as many songs and I didn't have to worry about the level overheating. Now I am aware that I can just use the Emitter glitch to conserve space on the thermometer and that way I can put the Deathless Teleporter in this gallery, but I've been getting people telling me that their PS3 would crash whenever they try to enter the level and I think the Emitter glitch may have something to do with it. So I'm afraid of taking a chance. Well anyways, thanks again for your review. I just published Chip n' Sequence NEO a few days ago. This one is menu-driven so check it out too when you get the chance. | 2012-08-22 05:45:00 Author: Unknown User |

So I'm afraid of taking a chance. I ran a YouTube search for teleporter for LittleBigPlanet 2 and I found a really easy to follow tutorial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A66UDGLPgI) that guides you through creating a teleporter. There aren't any glitches involved in doing it and I used it on Act 2 of my MGS level (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=72941-Metal-Gear-Sackboy-Unraveling-Stitches) (until I split it up into two parts connected by a level link) and I didn't experience any problems. If you need more help we can arrange a meet and I can give you the teleporter as an object. I'll get around to checking out your level this weekend when I've got more time. Cheers! | 2012-08-23 06:00:00 Author: Unknown User |
