I'm sure people have posted this somewhere on LBPC, but it seems appropriate in this thread. A job vacancy ad at Media Molecule, the British studio behind the LittleBigPlanet platform puzzlers for the PS3 and PSP, reveals some new games are in the works for a variety of consoles. The job ad on Media Molecule's website for an "experienced gameplay programmer" was posted to the NeoGAF forum. Another ad on the studio's website looking for a "UI designer" also says the titles will be for "different platforms." The ad itself doesn't give any information on what the new title might be like, except that these are "brand new IPs, even more ambitious than LBP." The fact that this is coming from a studio that has made a name for itself with a very different and innovative franchise for Sony and the PS3 means just that very vague detail is bound to drive a lot of interest their way. A 3D creation game would be even more ambitious than LBP... and they could easily not make it LBP so to not limit the 3D games to the handmade charm. Eh? Eh? That, or... RPG MAKER?!

A while back they mentioned something about a game "being even more creative than LBP", so it may be one of the games they're working on. At least that's what I remember.

At least that's what I remember. wait what? more creative than lbp? karting is the most creative thing i've ever seen and heard.but for lbp1,2,psp probably true cause the originality of cool pages are pretty much original most of the time. P.S. is mm making karting or united front(or font...whatever to lazy to look up the name) is or are they both making it? it's a shock when creators that made modnation works on a lbp game.

P.S. is mm making karting or united front United Front is making it. Well... regardless if LittleBigUniverse is real or not. it more then probably won't be MM who makes it. they said they are making new IPs... LittleBigUniverse no matter what way you try to look at it would not be a new IP.

I'm not sure if they could do anything more ambitious than LBP without adding 3D creation... unless they mean some other type of ambition, but that would be hard to measure in comparison to LBP. The only way I'd be disappointed is if they just make a clone of someone else's game, especially if it's another linear FPS with a tacked on multiplayer. I mean, what? How could you do that, MM?

Rumors are one of the game is SimSpaff in which you coordinate a group of kids playing a bugged game. Beta tester say that it's impossible to get the best ending and that's the reason of the delay. Game's story driven with lots of dramas the Platinum Trophy is called "Lasagne on a plane" It's unobtainable.
