Level name: Half-Life Tribute Author: DocRock64 PSN: DocRock64 I have found a few levels out there by people who tried to capture Half-Life in LBP, but none of them impressed me that much, so I sat down and built my own. I spent a great deal of time trying to build some of the more 'fun' parts of the game, like the intro tram ride, the experiment, and working through the destroyed complex. I spent more time on architecture, and not so much time on monsters or battles. I did put a few monsters in just for fun. I hope I captured the Half-Life experience. Please play my level, and heart it if you've enjoyed what I tried to recreate in the LBP world. Thanks. And be sure to visit my website. I too have tried to load the level with the same result. I have no idea what could be causing it, but I bet some other levels out there are having a similar problem. Maybe someone has found a solution?

I've had the problem of the level not loading. It was my first level, a MGS one, and it will not load for anyone unless i invite them and take them into the level with me. That was around the games release, and i've still found no fix :/ My other level has also failed to load sometimes. But when i edit the level and 'Save As...' to a different part of the moon, and upload it to a new place it works.

u could send ur level to: savegames@mediamolecule.com they should fix it and send it back so u can publish it ^_^ just go into ur save data folder, copy ur save data to a memory stick and send it to the email address through ur pc i wanna c this level as i love half life and the pics look good :*)

ok - I finally got to play it today. Loaded just fine for me - no problem there. I can only comment on the first section because I hit a level breaker but I'll mention that below. Nicely built level so far, very clean. The tram is nice but a little slow and there's not much to do in it but watch blank walls. I'd suggest either giving a little eye candy (detail/decoration) to check out while players wait or speed up the tram to minimize the boring bit - or both. I like the design of the suit at the bottom area but was sad it was just a grab item and not a sticker or something to recreate the suit on my character (Just a personal preference there.) Then we come to the level breaker - your lift is not set for directional. I was playing with three people and one of them set it off and it climbed too high to get to before we could jump on it. I'd suggest making the player sensor set to directional with a radius smaller than the total width of the lift. That way if the player falls off, doesn't jump in time, or gets smacked off the platform - it will return to the ground floor position and the play can continue. I'll check out the rest of the level as soon as I can but I wanted to mention this before you get more plays and it frustrates other players.
