Look guys. Relax. The LittleBigPlanet Vita beta had a similar process. The sent a "small" batch of codes out today to the creators and players they 100% want and need in the beta. They're essentially sending it to the big time pros because they're crazy about LBP and will benefit them the most.

In a week or so, they'll send the normal wave, where all of us will get a code (Europe Might be first but this may change since its not Mm or Tarsier this time)

First batch is always for those VIP players. We're given the codes later on.		2012-07-10 18:56:00

For agreeing to an NDA (Non Disclosure agreement) You swear to not leak information,post information, or say information in the contract/game. for breaking one they have full rights to heavily fine you.

first paragraph of the wiki definition of NDA

A non-disclosure agreement (NDA), also known as a confidentiality agreement (CA), confidential disclosure agreement (CDA), proprietary information agreement (PIA), or secrecy agreement, is a legal contract between at least two parties that outlines confidential material, knowledge, or information that the parties wish to share with one another for certain purposes, but wish to restrict access to or by third parties. It is a contract through which the parties agree not to disclose information covered by the agreement. An NDA creates a confidential relationship between the parties to protect any type of confidential and proprietary information or trade secrets. As such, an NDA protects nonpublic business information.
NDAs are commonly signed when two companies, individuals, or other entities (such as partnerships, societies, etc.) are considering doing business and need to understand the processes used in each others business for the purpose of evaluating the potential business relationship. NDAs can be "mutual", meaning both parties are restricted in their use of the materials provided, or they can restrict the use of material by a single party.

the disclosure period - information not disclosed during the disclosure period (e.g., one year after the date of the NDA) is not deemed confidential;

the recipient had prior knowledge of the materials;
the recipient gained subsequent knowledge of the materials from another source;
the materials are generally available to the public; or
the materials are subject to a subpoena - although many practitioners regard that fact as a category of permissible disclosure, not as a categorical exclusion from confidentiality (because court-ordered secrecy provisions may apply even in case of a subpoena). In any case, a subpoena would more likely than not override a contract of any sort;
provisions restricting the transfer of data in violation of national security;
the term (in years) of the confidentiality, i.e. the time period of confidentiality;
the term (in years) the agreement is binding;
permission to obtain ex-parte injunctive relief;

to use the information only for enumerated purposes;
to disclose it only to persons with a need to know the information for those purposes;

I also hope I get in the beta. But who doesn't hope they get in the beta? That'd be like a guy entering a contest for a million bucks and then regretting it. Alright, let me explain it then. Imagine you're going to bed, wake up the next morning, and find 10 new pages of posts on this thread. "Surely the wider spread of beta keys must have started", you think. So you excitedly dive into the thread, only to find it was just 10 pages of people asking when the beta starts. Bummer, huh?

"Surely the wider spread of beta keys must have started", you think. So you excitedly dive into the thread, only to find it was just 10 pages of people asking when the beta starts. Bummer, huh?

In short: people come here for new information about the beta, and that's going to be really hard to find.

I don't think so gribble, that's strange it's not working. You went to account management on XMB, redeem code, and entered your code there right? Ok, I'm going to try and Give my first impressions without breaking NDA:

The gameplay is great, nice slick and smooth.
the menus are... well... they are meh. (they feel sluggish)
AND THEN THERE'S CREATE MODE!
all i'm going to say is that even though i've been playing lbp for years, and have familiarized myself in it... don't know poop what i'm doing :/

It feels to me that everything other than the play mode needs a LOT of work :/

Click the little down arrow next to your PSN and you should see "PSN BETA" in the list.
