Why is it that everyone says they hate shark survival levels, yet when you publish one, it becomes the most played level on your earth within hours?

I hate them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I7Ue2wX6iQ Well, I suppose that people hate them because most are either copied or made in a matter of minutes, with poor gameplay (some are only water and some sharks scattered through the level), and still lots of people like them. Of course, not all are bad. Some can be original.

Why is it that everyone says they hate shark survival levels, yet when you publish one, it becomes the most played level on your earth within hours? This is quite simple i'll answer this in reverse mind you: It's the most played because they are quite thrilling to play with friends and enable a certain "fun" to be had by casual lbp player. The reason some hate them, is just for that reason. They are the most played, and thus more people make them. since there is this "need" for these level, there tends to be less "thoughtful" levels on the cool pages (or at least this was the case). this makes people not want to make levels that are complex which in turn causes the community to be squandered. Or you know, most of they are actually just copies.... so that might be it...

Lots of people hate them because they're the same recycled concept and although they can be fun at times, they can get really boring once they're all over the place and it's the same thing over and over again. Plus, they're usually copied and are horribly made. It's not that I hate all shark survivals, I'd go for one that was original and well-made. Try "Angry Whale Encounter", now THAT'S a good one. :hero:

I kinda think they're fun, but the reason most people hate them is because most of the shark survivals out there are bland and copied! Maybe if someone actually made there own and it was very unique in a way, it would be cool.
