ooooh materials! better than expected | 2012-06-21 21:59:00 Author: ForgottenEnigma Posts: 1414 |
the new material just looks like sand. is it a different shade than the one we already have? God, 53 and talking about the shade of sand in a video game... whatever next | 2012-06-21 22:04:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
Hopefully theres something different about the sand other than it looking a bit different than the POTC pack material. But the decorations look good! | 2012-06-21 22:10:00 Author: GranolaCrunch Posts: 105 |
PLEASE, please make the sand at least a little interactive. It would be awesome if it had a similar animation to the sand that's in Journey. I don't want another hard textured material!!(Well I kind of do, since it's free ) | 2012-06-21 22:22:00 Author: The5rozos Posts: 952 |
Never got the POTC pack so I'm excited for the sand even if it is just a normal material without animation | 2012-06-21 22:38:00 Author: PGdafrog Posts: 277 |
For lazy people http://www.littlebigplanet.com/images/assets/shared/dlc/imagery/Summercreatorkit_pack_stickers.jpg http://www.littlebigplanet.com/images/assets/shared/dlc/imagery/Summercreatorkit_pack_decorations.jpg I hope lady is a deco..... it got potential to beat robin bird deco in popularity ;] | 2012-06-21 23:18:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
It's sand castle sand! The sand from the Pirates kit (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Pirates_of_the_Caribbean_Premium_Level_Kit#Materia ls) looks like it has been shaped by waves while the new sand has been handled with a bucket! 40464 | 2012-06-21 23:34:00 Author: Uncuddly Posts: 237 |
Does the ladies head bobble!? | 2012-06-22 00:45:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
Does the ladies head bobble!? Since it's a hula girl, wouldn't her HIPS bobble? | 2012-06-22 01:04:00 Author: The5rozos Posts: 952 |
I sure hope the hula doll's an object, I can think of so many uses for it. | 2012-06-22 02:02:00 Author: lemurboy12 Posts: 842 |
Nice deco's, I'm definetly getting this. | 2012-06-22 02:31:00 Author: Cobaltor Posts: 222 |

Guys remember that POTC was made for LBP1, so whatever it's the same it will be better made on LBP2 | 2012-06-22 06:20:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
Kit looks great! Gonna get it! | 2012-06-22 14:30:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |
That crab and the sun, I want them, hope I don't forget to download this pack. | 2012-06-22 18:18:00 Author: nysudyrgh Posts: 5482 |
That's very eye-catching for sure! The footprint is really going to be useful. But I'm not sure any of these are materials. If you look at the URL of the second pictures (http://www.littlebigplanet.com/images/assets/shared/dlc/imagery/Summercreatorkit_pack_decorations.jpg), it's really written Summercreatorkit_pack_decorations. I guess it's merely of sand square! Maybe I'm wrong, I hope so! Talking about sand squares, don't you think grass squares would be brilliant? Maybe in the next Autumn Creator Kit! | 2012-06-22 20:02:00 Author: Oddmania Posts: 1305 |
Awesome! | 2012-06-22 20:27:00 Author: BillyCrash100 Posts: 134 |
It is truly a material! The image names are often slightly inaccurate. Besides, Summercreatorkit_pack_decorations_objects_and_one_ neato_sand_material is too long as a file name. | 2012-06-22 20:27:00 Author: Uncuddly Posts: 237 |
Yay , finally something different : a material Looking forward to summer pack ! | 2012-06-22 20:52:00 Author: Pyrotrooper91 Posts: 337 |

when are you putting out more vids on the new features of LBPVita? don't want to derail this thread but... He doesn't record the LBPVita stuff himself, he just promotes them. MrTynamite does, If you wanna see more of them they're on his channel. (http://www.youtube.com/user/MrTynamite/videos) Anyway back to the DLC, I hope that the sand castle is an object, that way you can sticker it and have it look like a cool castle. | 2012-06-23 18:18:00 Author: CYBERSNAKE Posts: 280 |

Looks cool, might have to make a sandcastle platformer level I could care less about the stickers, but that Hula Girl... she's my kinda girl | 2012-06-23 23:13:00 Author: Nick930930 Posts: 878 |

The pack is now available on the North American PlayStation Store and the names of all its items have been added to the wiki: Summer Creator Kit contents (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Summer_Creator_Kit) As expected, the hula girl fits nicely on Sackboy's head. | 2012-06-26 21:27:00 Author: Uncuddly Posts: 237 |
It's Pales, Shales, and their 7 girlfriends! http://i0.lbp.me/img/ft/3f0d976fb24cb9278c7f3389deef88e1029403ac.jpg | 2012-06-26 22:10:00 Author: lemurboy12 Posts: 842 |
Something about that is so creepy... | 2012-06-26 22:52:00 Author: Undarivik Posts: 442 |
Something about that is so creepy... I imagine you're referring to the hula girl's oddly deformed face. Sweet objects though! EDIT: BTW, you can export screenshots to your computer? I never knew that! | 2012-06-26 23:05:00 Author: The5rozos Posts: 952 |
EDIT: BTW, you can export screenshots to your computer? I never knew that! Not quite. Press upload on lbp2, then get the photo from lbp.me. That's how most people get their lbp2 photos (like my sig ) | 2012-06-27 00:32:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |
Not quite. Press upload on lbp2, then get the photo from lbp.me. That's how most people get their lbp2 photos (like my sig ) unless you have a USB memory stick. then you can upload them to your PC after that. | 2012-06-27 00:37:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
The content in this pack looks decent, but I care less about DLC and more about fixing broken features such as the missing hearted my objects section. It's been months since it was removed accidentally! When will it return? | 2012-06-27 00:50:00 Author: synchronizer Posts: 287 |
Does anyone else think the new sand material is under the wrong property section? It has all the properties of a sponge (ex. sound, weight, grabbable) but is under the stone section. Either way its a cool material...just thought it was wierd finding it under stone XD | 2012-06-27 02:15:00 Author: L1GhTmArE Posts: 519 |

Either way its a cool material...just thought it was wierd finding it under stone XD The categories for all the seasonal DLC objects are all messed up. Nikki- Merged with existing thread. Nice video. Thank you Ms. Luck | 2012-06-28 00:42:00 Author: Unknown User |
that sand you've used in the video is not the sand you get with this pack. that sandcastle is made from the original sand. i checked today to look at the differences and the old sand is FAR better. this sand hasn't got the wavy lines, it's more like patchy sandpaper | 2012-06-28 00:49:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |

If you would watch the whole video and read captions It's all in there. Any-who, I like the old sand better for beaches etc. as well, that's why I started the video with it. But I still very much appreciate the new Sand Material, it will be perfect for sandy areas between hills etc. You can NEVER have enough different materials and this one is nice as well | 2012-06-28 00:51:00 Author: Unknown User |
I'd have preferred an entirely different sand, but you have a point | 2012-06-28 01:28:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
The upside to the spongy new sand is that you can build a sandcastle and bombard it with rockets for satisfying results. The old sand is much too durable. | 2012-06-28 01:33:00 Author: Uncuddly Posts: 237 |

I wonder if LBPV will have any cool animated nature materials. The rain and cloud materials definitely look neat so far. | 2012-06-29 05:29:00 Author: The5rozos Posts: 952 |
A wasted opportunity this DLC. We already had sand, seashell, flag and starfish, so why include near duplicates of these items again? I'm disappointed. | 2012-06-29 08:45:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |

I wouldn't call a plastic turquoise starfish with a smiley face on even close to a realistic one, at least they have more varied applications! : D | 2012-06-30 08:55:00 Author: Hallm3 Posts: 252 |
