PLEASE, please make the sand at least a little interactive. It would be awesome if it had a similar animation to the sand that's in Journey.

It's sand castle sand! The sand from the Pirates kit (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Pirates_of_the_Caribbean_Premium_Level_Kit#Materia ls) looks like it has been shaped by waves while the new sand has been handled with a bucket!

That's very eye-catching for sure! The footprint is really going to be useful. But I'm not sure any of these are materials. If you look at the URL of the second pictures (http://www.littlebigplanet.com/images/assets/shared/dlc/imagery/Summercreatorkit_pack_decorations.jpg), it's really written Summercreatorkit_pack_decorations. I guess it's merely of sand square! Maybe I'm wrong, I hope so!

It is truly a material! The image names are often slightly inaccurate. Besides, Summercreatorkit_pack_decorations_objects_and_one_ neato_sand_material is too long as a file name. 2012-06-22 20:27:00

Not quite. Press upload on lbp2, then get the photo from lbp.me.

Does anyone else think the new sand material is under the wrong property section? It has all the properties of a sponge (ex. sound, weight, grabbable) but is under the stone section. Either way its a cool material...just thought it was wierd finding it under stone XD2012-06-27 02:15:00

The categories for all the seasonal DLC objects are all messed up. Like, since when is a lollipop and strawberry scenic and not food?

that sand you've used in the video is not the sand you get with this pack. that sandcastle is made from the original sand. i checked today to look at the differences and the old sand is FAR better. this sand hasn't got the wavy lines, it's more like patchy sandpaper2012-06-28 00:49:00

Yes, I know! If you would watch the whole video and read captions It's all in there.
Any-who, I like the old sand better for beaches etc. as well, that's why I started the video with it. But I still very much appreciate the new Sand Material, it will be perfect for sandy areas between hills etc. You can NEVER have enough different materials and this one is nice as well 		2012-06-28 00:51:00

The upside to the spongy new sand is that you can build a sandcastle and bombard it with rockets for satisfying results. The old sand is much too durable. 2012-06-28 01:33:00
