| I'm wanting to share some ideas I had for an upcoming game within LBP2 I've been tossing around in my head. This game will have some key points that I'd like to stress on. First, some background. I've been working on Last Hope, a LBP2 MMO(4 player per time)like RPG game that had various classes, resource systems and so forth. The issue with this game was not the quality, in fact it was just the opposite. It was FAR too complex for someone to pick it up, and just have fun with it. That said, I wanted a more accessable, fun game. And this is where I am with it. The idea is that happy little Sackworld has discovered a new plague sweeping through, this time, the enemies aren't entirely tangable. A mad scientist (who will remain unknown for the time) has discovered a way to turn real objects into cartoons. In this game you will be able to solo, or play with friends using 1 of 3 characters or "classes". These characters are magical artists who have learned the ways of cartoon combat to turn their artistic talent into a cartoon combat style. Characters will be: Satirist (Power)- A cartoonist with very blunt and harmful cartoon spells. Humorist (Survival/Speed)- A cartoonist who uses lighter, but quick wit abilities to wear down an enemy. Caricaturist (Balance)- A cartoonist who tends to "blow things out of proportion" by enhancing or minimizing effects, as well as using slight humor to get a grasp on the situation at hand. This is a top-down game that will have universal and easy to learn controls to make it a "pick up and play" type of game. It will feature group work, as well as Player versus Player so that you may face off with your friends. An example of the type of fight you will encounter, is here.
