This is the first casual friendly level I have ever published as I usually publish extremely hard platformers. So I figured I would post it in the showcase. It's nothing fancy but did take a lot of work to finish despite it's simplistic look. I just hope it's at least somewhat enjoyable. Unfortunately due to thermo I had to sacrifice a lot of visual detail so some parts may look bare. I originally planned for the level to 'come alive' with detail but thermo wouldn't allow it even after using thermo efficient techniques. If there are any problems please let me know. http://lbp.me/v/b2ke-v http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=40380&d=1339967226 http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=40381&d=1339967230 http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=40382&d=1339967235 http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=40383&d=1339967238 http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=40384&d=1339967240 http://lbp.me/v/b2ke-z | 2012-06-17 22:19:00 Author: Hana_Kami Posts: 393 |
Can you give the link to the LBP.me so that I may queue it? Or did I just not see it? | 2012-06-17 22:39:00 Author: Unknown User |
The link is in the post but just isn't showing for some reason. I'll go re-edit and try a different method. Sorry! >< EDIT: Ok, link is now in post at the top. | 2012-06-17 22:44:00 Author: Hana_Kami Posts: 393 |
Got it queued. | 2012-06-17 23:44:00 Author: Unknown User |
So simple, and yet, so fun. Nothing quite like getting farther then your friends and bringing it up every chance you get. Great level! | 2012-06-18 00:49:00 Author: Unknown User |

Awesome level! I liked that you could change the music. The visuals could use some work, but I understand you have problems with the thermo. Nice mini challenges, but I couldn't go much far | 2012-06-20 20:03:00 Author: BillyCrash100 Posts: 134 |
Really nice platformer you got here! Like the idea of simple cardboard design and hard yet simple obstacles! by the time I'm writing this, I've only made it to the 8th challenge, but I'll come back to finish for sure! Great job | 2012-06-20 20:45:00 Author: AcAnimate Posts: 174 |
Pretty cool level, you don't see challenges like this very often I got to the eighth challenge, might try some more later. | 2012-06-20 20:49:00 Author: Deurklink1 Posts: 346 |

Nice mini challenges, but I couldn't go much far Yeah, I was bummed about the thermo. It's ridiculous how easy it fills up. In order for all the obstacles that use emitters to actually emit I had to place player sensors wired to destroyers in certain parts to destroy huge chunks of the level that players had already passed to free up thermo for the emitters. At the start 3 of the sackbots use to be emitted but the 4th one stopped emitting, and of course that's too early in the level to destroy part of level to free up thermo so I had to place 4th sackbot out of view with a follower and a tag in the 4th player box so that when the 4th player player sensor activates the tag the sackbots follower moves it into place. No emitter required. These are just a couple of the many struggles I had with thermo, lol. >< I'll be playing your level for feedback as well as others tonight now that I have enough spare time. Once you get how to do it it's not too bad. Was it obvious after dying the first time that you're suppose to use both ceiling and floor to have enough time to make it across? I keep wondering how many realize that and how many would continue to try only floor or only ceiling. Obviously many won't realize it the first time. Figured I'd ask because I noticed a lot of scores stop at that obstacle. | 2012-06-21 02:13:00 Author: Hana_Kami Posts: 393 |

Yeah, the 8th challenge is very confusing at the start, but at least I know what to do with it when I feel like playing this level again. Anyways, good job on this increasingly challenging platformer. The cardboard usage is pretty good, and a variety of challenges adds more fun to this level. Changing the musics are a nice addition, too. Great for those who need a good start but want a challenge throughout the level. awesome challenging level! I would like to play it any number of times. However, I consider that it is better to adjust to a slight degree about a camera. About especially the angle and area of a camera, it is still more so. awesome, good work | 2012-06-26 19:19:00 Author: nyanchuoya Posts: 57 |
