Sorry for asking such a simple question but how exactly does one get into the community spotlight ? Do I just post my level online in LBP ? Or post it in a thread somewhere ? Thanks .

All you have to do is to post your level online and in the Level Showcase section. The Spotlight crew plays all the levels, reviews them and then pick which ones to spotlight. Adding your LBP.me link, a good description and pics is also very helpful.

Is it possible to re-submit it to the level showcase with that noted?

Is it possible to re-submit it to the level showcase with that noted? any revisions should really be mentioned in the same thread, which probably means it will be passed over for the next showcase. I'm not sure what the policy is for starting a fresh thread for the same game, but I think, in general, it would be seen as 'taking the Mick'.

no, if you have made significant changes to the level, and not just fixed glitches and broken areas but made some major changes or as you said "dramatic" changes, then this would be ok to start a new thread for the level. As a member of the spotlight crew, we have a special tool that shows us whenever a NEW level is posted in the level showcase. So just updating a level thread with "I've made significant changes to this level and updated it" would not guarantee a replay from the crew. Hope that helps.
