I believe that the touch screen will cause a lot of people to be unoriginal with their creations. They'll start recreating Android and App Store games. They'll recreate Angry Birds and all those types of games. What we have here is an App creator mixed with LBP. I was watching this leaked beta video (shame). Somebody had already recreated that helicopter game where you tap the screen and the helicopter goes up. These are fun and addicting. But it isn't original. these could become the "Bomb Survivals" of the Vita. What do you guys think about that?

I think the recreation of App Store games can be quite fun until the 50th remake. At which point hopefully creators will try to be new and inventive to break the mould and create something unlike all else, totally worthy of playing.

Someone that wasn't interested in creating something original wasn't going to create an original masterpiece just because touch controls weren't supported...now they just have a wider pool of existing titles to choose from. "Original" is pretty subjective anyway...not much of what you see created is truly original or revolutionary. I do think we will see a lot of levels that make use of touch initially, because it's something new with the Vita so people are going to want to try it out. I also think a lot of these levels will be poorly done or include gratuitous use of touch controls...but things will get better over time as people get comfortable with the platform. I'm certainly giving a lot of thought into how touch controls might be incorporated into my first Vita level. Basically, whatever people want to create is fine with me...not sure why folks get so concerned about what others want to do with the copy of the game they purchased.

to be honest i don't think there is anything wrong in sharpening your teeth on tried and tested ideas. it's a great way of learning the logic and getting used to the features.

i havent seen much of them... but the helicopter is really fun and cool...i see no problem with this as long as thair fun... Remarkably there's hardly any shark survival...ther's barely one page when i search for it,and there not even fun
