Hello sackfolks, I need some help with the advanced musicsequence on LBP I love music and I use to make cool melodies on guitar. But how can I transform the tabs from the guitar to the LBP piano? Example: If I have that guitar note: E ------------------------------------ B ------------------------------------- G ------------------------------------- D ------------------------------------- A ------------------------------------- E --3---------------------------------- Or that guitar note: E --2--------------------------------- B ------------------------------------- G ------------------------------------- D ------------------------------------- A ------------------------------------- E ------------------------------------- How to I got them on the advanced music senquencer My sister play piano so I also wondering how you got a piano melodi on a music senquencer? She dont understand that: C1- C2- C3- C4 and o.s.v. If someone know about this thing please tell me about it. Please So please help me! | 2012-06-11 19:30:00 Author: Unknown User |
The music sequencer is laid out just like a piano so I don't really understand why your sister wouldn't understand. C1, C2 etc. are just an indication of which octave that particular C is (i.e. C1 is the lowest C, C2 is the second lowest (C1 might be the highest, I can't remember off the top of my head)). As for translating guitar music onto the sequencer, first'y, take your note (in your examples, they are G and F#) and work out where they are on a piano (G would be the first note after the first of the three black notes and F# would be that first of the three black notes). Finally, put your note in the same place on the sequencer as it was on the piano. It's kind of hard to explain without physically showing you, hope you understand | 2012-06-12 15:33:00 Author: PGdafrog Posts: 277 |

It's a simple matter of knowing what notes you're playing, instead of just what frets and strings. Tabs are fine, but reading music makes transposing a lot easier. | 2012-06-20 16:58:00 Author: xero Posts: 2419 |

String E that start first is string six off your guitar (the thickest). In guitar language we also sometimes call the last E a small ''e'', because that is the smallest string. | 2012-06-20 18:49:00 Author: dutch Posts: 54 |
