Need Health Help

I'm trying to make the screen black and white when the player is low on health, and make it turn back to normal when you're not low on health. The only problem is, it's been kinda confusing to make it happen, so far this is how the logic looks like. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/303374_393112240726232_2118461982_n.jpg Any suggestions on how to do it? | 2012-06-11 08:27:00 Author: wait wtf Posts: 853 |
wire your timer (the one used to store health value) to a sequencer set to positional. you can then place a battery at one end of the sequencer (the end that indicates low health) then wire that battery to your lighting logic. when your health is low it will activate the battery therefore activating your lighting change, then when health comes back up it will turn off the battery. alternatively you could just stretch the lighting tweakers etc on the sequencer itself | 2012-06-11 09:04:00 Author: evret Posts: 612 |
alternatively you could just stretch the lighting tweakers etc on the sequencer itself Wait.. what?! You can stretch a tweaker on a positional sequencer and get a slightly changed lighting ranging between 0 and 100% depending on the sequencer's position? If so, I need to get experimenting with this!! | 2012-06-11 10:12:00 Author: Antikris Posts: 1340 |
no, it's either on or off, the transition time is still set by the tweaker settings. so the OP would need at least 2 tweakers on the sequencer one for black and white, one for normal. however you could use more than two ranging between normal and black and white to achieve the affect of slowly going black and white the more health you lose edit: ok maybe the length on the sequencer sets the time, but you cant stop it halfway through the transition by stopping the sequencer half way through it. | 2012-06-11 10:41:00 Author: evret Posts: 612 |
