What do you think of them? I don't think we had a thread about cats in the past two months.2012-06-08 21:28:00

Kittens are nice, but once they adopt that "cattitude" I don't want anything to do with them.

My favorite kind of pet is "somebody elses dog". I can pet it, we can have a blast, then I get to go home and not pick up poo or have vet bills.

(which reminds me... The number of odors which can be considered more foul than cat urine is a mere handful. The only ones that come to mind are petrolium refineries and mass production cattle ranches, maybe chicken processing plants too. )

That's among the shortest OP's I've ever read.

The solids are even worse lol. I've spent many a weekend scooping up the neighbour's cat poo out of our garden. Don't want to be doing that on a hot day lol. - I do love cats though. Been on at my other half for about 10 years to get one, but he reckons he's allergic or something.

I take it you've all seen Maru (http://www.youtube.com/user/mugumogu)? <3

They're nice. They can be affectionate, but like Dread said (lol rhyming), they can get that 'tude. I like fun cats, ones that are annoying.2012-06-09 11:49:00

I'm a true cat lover. There's always been at least one cat in my family throughout my 37 year life time, and home wouldn't feel like home without one. I've currently got a 3 year old Bengal who is very soft and cuddly around humans but he's a natural born killing machine to the rest of the animal world. (his frag count averages around 3 rabbits, 4 birds, 7 mice and a toad each week)

Dogs on the other hand, well....they seriously suck. The only good dog is a dead dog IMO.

Foxes are dog-like animals. I'm only saying that because of your avatar.

Blasphemer! How dare you!! :kz:

Its a Red Panda. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_panda

Well thank god somebody around here knows the difference between a panda and a fox!

Though previously mis-classified as belonging to the raccoon family or the bear family, the red panda is now commonly acknowledged as belonging to it's own unique family known as ailurus.

So no Apple....the red panda (aka: shining cat) is nothing like a dog.

It has to be one of them (fox or red panda), but now I know it.

Trololol I'm just JOSHIN (which is a stupid word).
But with me it's opposite. I personally like cats, but down the line my whole family just doesn't seem to like them. I know like ten different relatives that have gotten scratched or bitten and they just have a grudge. My uncle even named his cat "STUPID", after my favorite word when I was five. Stupid's a great cat, but he almost ate an offering to the dead once.

^ Ok, well maybe I should explain the reasons why I hate dogs

The 3 occasions when I have been bitten by different dogs
The smell
The slobbering
The barking
The groin sniffing

Cats are obviously superior, especially ones which have poptarts for bodies.

Both my hands and arms used to be full of scratches before I moved out of my family's house! My cat is a wild little beast though.

Here's another reason cats are better than dogs. Say you want to go on vacation, do you....

A) put out an extra big little box, big bowl of food and water, and your cat is good for a week by itself
B) pray you can find someone to walk your dog or let him out, feed him ever day (if you give him a week's worth of food, he'll eat it all the moment you leave, then puke it on your carpet), or pay handsomely to put him in a pet hotel for a week.

I changed my mind, I totally despise some cats.
1) They decide to take their morning jogs ALL over the car leaving little footprints on the windshield.
2) For some reason all my friends' cats are spawns of the devil and hate everyone (yes, the owners said it themselves and the cats proved their points).
3) In my old neighborhood cats that were let out would scratch on every tree on every lawn.
4) They're flippin' EVERYWHERE here, and they leave little surprises everywhere and I'm forced to pick them up as a bonus to my daily chores. I'm only supposed to pick up my dog's crud, not the whole neighborhood's cats' crud.
5) There was this one cat that was a total troll and would hop and sleep on any seat at my friends' house before I could sit on it.
6) There were cats all over the place when I went with one of my uncles, and I stepped on one's tail on the stairs and it nearly made me fall.
7) My friend was ambushed by one in the night at a sleepover.
8) They always find new ways to scare the living daylight out of me, hiding in places I would never suspect. Especially when it's dark and their eyes glow.
Yes, most of these are personal experiences with devil-ninja cats. Notice how I said SOME cats, not just "cats" or "all cats", because I know that there are plenty nice cats in the world. Especially those cats who put up with my energetic three year old self, back when I thought they were so cute I could just hug their wittle brains out.

I don't think this should turn into a "cats vs. dogs which is bettur lol" competition, because apple only asked what we thought of them. Also there are loads of people who own dogs and/or cats and probably don't really enjoy some of what they read on here, even if it is simply derping around, so be considerate. Also I personally just don't like when someone says "better", it's just a bad word in my dictionary. :hero:

I don't like cats. Never have, and never will.

Kittens are just OK. But the second they're fully grown, HECK NO.

Now dogs, on the other hand...

Cats are just some silly creatures, but mostly playful animals.

There is a YouTube video of two cats meowing throughout the entire video.

My cat always poops in the bathtub, one time I picked him up when I caught him and he pooped all the way to the backdoor.

Think that's bad? (Before he got lost) I once saw my cat about to mark his territory in the hall, picked him up, he weed all over me.

TROLOLOL! I'm sorry, that was just too awesome. I couldn't help it. That's an unusual one.

I knew one cat who was very well behaved. She meows a lot, mainly because she's happy. She loves apples and peaches (as food), and you can play fetch with her.

By the way, I found the video. It's called "Kittens and Cats Meowing".
