HELP with ending level upon death

Hi guys I am in the process of making an old school space invaders type level. This is my first level so I'm kinda new to this. You are in a controllinator that controls a mecha, what I need to know is how to end the level when you blow up. I have a health chip on the ship and a destroyer which works but when you die you just fall under the blown up ship. I need it to send you to the score board when the ship blows up. any help would be greatly appreciated<32012-06-07 08:38:00

There is a tool in your popit that lets you end the game. It's a blue-ish colour and has a trophy on it (if memory serves me correctly). You can get this to activate when you die.2012-06-07 09:53:00

Also make sure you make the setting in the gadget that Ali, win : true, to make the player go to the scoreboard.2012-06-07 10:37:00

Hi there.
Theres a number of ways to do this
1. If you want the game to end when your ships health reaches 0, take a wire from the health counters output and connect it to a GAME ENDER.(have its setting to Success= yes). This way, as Waaghgork says, when you die, it registers that you have successfully completed the level, and you are taken to the scoreboard. If the Game Emder is set to success no..the continue/replay screen comes up.
2. If you want to end your level by achieving a certain score, you can, either....
set in in the gameplay options (tools 7/7) to end the level when a certain score is reached....or...
have An IMPACT SENSOR attached to a SCORE GIVER on each invader, so when destroyed they give a number of points.
Then, elsewhere in the level have a SCORE SENSOR set to detect when a set score is reached, and connectet this to the GAME ENDER.
3. If you want to end the level on killing all invaders first, place a COUNTER on the level (set it to the number of invaders you have...say, 10)
To this counters input, wire a RED TAG SENSOR, and from the counters output connect a success game ender.
Now, on each invader have an IMPACT SENSOR (set to detect when your missile impact with it) connected to both a DESTROYER (to destroy
the invader), and a RED TAG.
This step 3 setup works by- When an invader is is hit by your missile, it triggers the Impact sensor, this in turn triggers the destroyer, and
it quickly fires the red tag sensor. As the red tag activates briefly, the Red tag sensor on the counter senses, incrementing the counter by
1. the enemy is destroyed. Next enemy hit, repeats the sequence. As the red tag sensor activates.... the counter registers another hit...
incrementing another one. So when invader 10 gets destroyed, it increments the last unit, activating the game ender.
