Static objects?

Archive: 5 posts

I recently got a PS3 and LBP1 Game of the Year edition(yaay ), which, needless to say, is a big improvement over the PSP version.

There is, however, one thing that I miss. In the PSP version, you could make a material "static"(it stays where you put it, cannot be moved without popit cursor) or "dynamic"(it can be moved by other things). Right now, my only way of doing it is getting overly creative with rods, but that takes forever.
I have Creator Pack 1 installed, by the way.

Is this possible in LBP1?

is what possible? having static material? Yeah, rods is one way to go, you could also use dark matter. embed a small piece of dark matter into the material in a location that will be hidden from the player2012-06-05 20:42:00

Where do I find the dark matter material? I don't see it in my tools bag or my objects bag. Or am I not looking hard enough?

It should be in basic materials at the top of the materials list. I believe in tools.

If not, then either I forgot alot more about it since I stopped creating the last couple of weeks than I thought, or you might have to complete a tutorial to get it.
