You knew it was coming. I figured SOMEONE had to ask, so why nooot? So, will the Oh-So-Abused Copy option still be there? If so, will it have changed at all? I mean like having some sort of spamming restraint, or something like that? I understand that the copy option has its uses, and it obviously wasn't meant to be a "STEAL" button. So what will become of it? This is speculation, and I'm not saying it won't be there. I'm asking a question. I'm also Captain Obvious. So do you think it will? Huh? Huh? Huh? I hope I didn't totally ruin the game like a troll for some. That would most definitely suck. :hero:

I think that if they return the copy button, they should disable publishing it afterwards and capturing objects in the level (so they won't capture the whole level, place it in a different level, and publish that level).

why not when they copy it. then publish it there is a thing that says ORIGINAL creator: *NAME* like when you get collected community objects. modnation racers did it.

I'll make a request in the private beta forums. Perhaps a director will take notice and try and implement such a feature. Seems like a reasonable request to prevent people from stealing levels

I think LBPV(and LBP and LBP2) could use some kind of black list. SO specific player(trolls) can't review or give any kind of feedback to other players. Neither could they copy your copyable levels. Just imagine a world without Latin_Players !!!!!!!!!!!

wait... are you telling me that some people actually capture your whole level when you invite them into create mode? i can't see why they can't have a disable button in the same settings as 'preview' mode

So when i publish a level on lbp vita people can copy it and publish it again? i don't like that..in lbp 2 and one we can make it copyable or not copyable... this worrys me.

I thought you meant copying objects in Create Mode for a second there, and was getting very worried that it might not be. I'm still confused to this day as to why Mm didn't just make it so we can save other people's levels to our moon for offline play, but aren't allowed to publish them.

the copy option is useful for team projects. me and my friends use it with one another for our projects all the time. just because some people misuse it don't mean it should be removed. you can abuse almost anything. so does that mean they should remove everything? of course not. *mew

It's the manner and frequency in which it IS abused. It's probably the most abused thing in the game. They removed the boo option because it was being used wrongly, and many people were wondering why the copy option wasn't being removed because it was a BIG problem in lbp. And that was what you were saying, because it still has its uses, unlike the boo did. I don't really want it to be removed, but more of being restrained. Something to put a cap on the spamming and stuff. I think it should only be used for sharing purposes and that's it, no stealing.

Most people either don't let untrustworthy people join them while creating or don't take out anything of great value. Kind of like how others were suggesting, maybe some sort of restraint so it isn't so easy to capture objects that the creator doesn't want you to or to publish levels the creator doesn't want you to. Basically what you were suggesting, but with the copy option.

I have had people try and capture my objects.There needs to be something done limiting what people can or can't capture when there on your moon!
